When Darren got home, he saw Elena playing Video game with Nick and Dan. Dan jumped to his feet when he saw Darren.

Darren had told him and his brother to return to the mansion because of Elena. He was proud to hear it at least, she cares about her friends.

"Good evening boss, how was work today," Dan greeted with an innocent smile on his lips.

"Where's Kyle?" Darren asked and handed him his briefcase.

"In his room. Maybe asleep," Dan answered sharply.

Elena went towards him and stood without doing anything.

Dan went back to the game and continued with Nick.

Elena followed Darren like a child as he unbuttoned the top of his sleeve. She felt he was angry she didn't welcome in like always.

Darren entered his room and he knew Elena was following him. Elena shut the door and increased her pace to stand at his front.

Darren arch his brows at walk passed her. Elena remained unmoving from the spot and only turned when she heard water running on the bathroom.

Now she was upset. She was shy and unable to hug him because they weren't the only ones there.

She turned and walked out of the room and went towards hers. If he's upset, then she too is also upset.

Elena arranged her bed and slid into the duvet and closed her eyes. After some minutes, she was unable to sleep and kept tossing on the bed.

Meanwhile, Darren step out of the bathroom to find she have left.

Elena closed her eyes but she wasn't sleeping. Her black long hair now everywhere on the pillow.

She heard footsteps approaching her, she quiet down and pretend to be asleep.

Darren shook his head and sat on the bed close to her face. He removed the hairs from her face and saw the skin on her eyes twitch.

"I know you're not asleep," Darren said but silence was the response he got. He grinned and lean to peck her on the cheek.

Elena's eyes opened and she embrace him. The hug was unexpected and caught Darren off guard.

Elena was still upset even now she was sitting beside him.

Darren was tying the little rope on her night dress when he felt a hard knock on his head. He paused and look at Elena.

"What was that for?" He was still feeling the pain on his head.

Elena smiled and picked her whiteboard from the bedside table.

[You deserve it. You ignored me!]

Darren arch the brow on one of his eye. "How did I ignore you Elena?" Darren's deep masculine voice was raspy.

She was getting too beautiful as the days roll by. Her black eyes, well carved eyebrows, her eyelashes fluttered as she stare at him. Her small nose and... sensual lips, Darren inhaled sharply. He really want to kiss them.

Elena noticed his eyes on her lips, nervously, she bit it and pulled back. Darren lean closer and Elena felt his warm breath on her face.

His finger running on the smooth skin on her face, her cheeks burn at the closeness. She wanted to push him away but her instinct stopped her.

Darren couldn't believe he had actually fall in love with her in a short period of time. Even if she can't speak, he realizes she was the best and most precious person in his life. He capture her lips for a kiss.

Elena was still contemplating when she felt his cold lips on hers. She was taken by surprise and tried to push him off but Darren didn't bulge.

Her lips were soft and warm, he love it and deepen the kiss. Elena eyes widen in shock when Darren deepen the kiss. She felt the word spinning as his lips join with hers.

When Darren press her against the bed Elena quickly break the kiss and turn her head, her face was covered in thick warm shades of red.

Darren ran his tongue on his lips and gaze at the girl who was looking in another direction. He held her chin and turned her to face him.

"Are you angry about what I did?" He asked and caressed her lips.

Elena stare him without showing any reaction.Was she angry at him?

Darren waited patiently for her to respond, he couldn't take his eyes off her not for a single minute.

Elena shook her head and wrap her hands around his neck then she hug him. She wasn't angry, she wasn't angry at him. Darren had always been nice to her, she wished she could speak and tell him she isn't angry at what he did.

Darren sighed in relief and pulled her up so he could hug her comfortably. Her little body was pressed against his and he buried his face in the dip of her neck.

Elena smiled and hug him tightly. Darren kissed her, even if she didn't give him the chance it still meant alot to her.

Darren laid beside Elena who was having her head on his chest. Her sleeping face was stunning making Darren run his finger on her facial features.

' I'll take care of you and I promise I won't leave you, ' Darren said inwardly.

On the other side, Vivian was pale as a white sheet. Being a popular A lister Actress, she was the talk of most people.

Earlier after she went home, she took a selfie and wrote a caption 'Times with childhood friend'.

This post became one of the trending topics on social media and increased in shared.

The media knew she would attend the celebration party of 'Shades of Love' the newly released movie she starred in.

Times with childhood friend underlying meaning was different from what the mass will understand and Vivian thought it was a good cover up.

Today was the celebration party and she spent time with her childhood friend, which also mean that Darren would appear at the party.

Darren was also a strong public figure in the city and Vivian saw this as a chance to stay beside him.

"Where's the Chairman Vivian?" Another actress apparently, Vivian's rival asked with sarcasm.

"She's just blabbing nonsense.Chairman Darren Hamilton won't come,"another actress said.

In the industry Vivian was having the upper hand and using Darren to boast, now he didn't show up, those she usually bully would come to mock her. And came was Charlotte Edward.

" Darren told me he now have a sweet woman with him," Charlotte whispered and chuckle wickedly.

" Lies!" Vivian gritted her teeth.

Charlotte made an 'O' and snickered " you can ask him yourself," Charlotte said and walk away with her shoulder high.

Vivian turned pale as white paper and het body shook vigorously. She have been a fool not to know.
