Zhang Xiaolu

Li Xie felt warm and fuzzy inside when she heard him,no one has ever fought fought for her like this, she had expected it to be like every other situation.

    They confront her, she leaves them, she gets hit in the process and not tell anyone and the case won't blow up.

    Even though the Wen's finds out that she had been bullied,they always put the whole fault on her therefore making her to be the independent and fierce woman she is now.

      Zhang Linfen looked at his wife,his heart ache for her, she had really been through a lot in her early stages of life.

     He held her palm dearly, carelessly the soft surface while looking into her eyes.

    "You're my wife, therefore nobody,i repeat nobody deserve to be touched by you and i won't spare anyone who would harm you"he kissed the back of her palm lovingly, she blushed slightly happy to have found a confidant but she wasn't sure if she should give him her heart just yet after all it just healed.   

      "I know that you're still feeling insecure and i want you to know that i love you alot, from the first time i saw you,you stole my heart. And even if you're not willing to give me your heart in return,i will wait for you forever even if i have to"she was surprised, she didn't expect him to confess just like that.

     "We met yesterday and you claim to have fallen for me, to be sincere,i don't believe in love at first sight"he chuckled softly, she slowly removed her hands from his grip.

    "Moreover,am not sure if am willing to give my heart to any guy right now but i promise to be a good wife"he looked at his empty hands and felt like he just lost a valuable treasure.

     "Am not going to force you, when you're ready, I'll always be here for you. Am going to work, take care of yourself and make sure you eat this time"he stood up and kissed her forehead.

     "Are you coming home today?"she asked him.

    "Hmmm"he hummed striding towards the door and leaving for work,this whole mansion became empty again, she stood up and went upstairs,both of them hardly touched their food.

   She entered her bedroom and lied on the bed, not wanting to think about Zhang Linfen, she carried her phone and saw twenty one missed calls,one from Wen Han and the remaining twenty from Wen shaiman, she called him back as he pick up.

    Li Xie sighed helplessly, what are they teaching him in that military academy, isn't one of their rules is to be up early but Wen shaiman is always waking up late.

    She dropped her phone, not knowing what to do when she heard a knock, she took long strides and opened it to see a girl younger than her staring at her, she wanted to close the door but the girl immediately entered, looking inside the room.

   "How can brother be this wicked?,i come here often but my room isn't as beautiful as your place"she looked at Li Xie with admiring eyes.

     "No one has ever gotten my brother to change his design and texture of his rooms,i really admire you"Li Xie was surprised when she heard sister, she had never heard that Zhang Linfen had a sister.

      "Brother,are you Zhang Linfen sister?"the girl smile charmingly showing her small dimples.

     "Yours truly,i rushed back from US when i heard my brother is married without informing any of us,so i came to see for myself"she shrugged, Li Xie couldn't process all this,sister.

     The girl spoke in fluent English that one will doubt she's from china, she also look like an american freshman,from her charisma and to her mode of dressing.

     "Zhang Xiaolu"she stretched out her hand as Li Xie shook it.

     "Li Xie, nice to meet you"

     "Do you want to hear baby secrets of my brother"Zhang Xiaolu said getting Li Xie interested, she could use it to tease him at times.

    Zhang Xiaolu dragged Li Xie on the bed as she sat on it folding her two legs on the white bed sheet.

   *Do you know when brother was a child, he cries whenever he sees people laughing,so nobody usually laugh whenever he's around".

     Li Xie was surprised as she was forced to laugh.

    "That's not all, whenever a girl tries to get near him,he starts to cry, and do you know that he tried so hard to get a girl to take an interest in him to the extent of bringing a dead frog with a letter on it feet. He was suspended for a week"they both laugh heartily, Li Xie really felt she had made a friend.

    "Do you know anything about his love history?"Li Xie said with high hopes that diminished when she heard Zhang Xiaolu say"that is a scar that's meant to be hidden,if said out loud brings out past memories. When the time comes, brother will tell you himself"she said with a sense of maturity.

     "Sister-in-law,are you on weibo"Li Xie nodded, Zhang Xiaolu carried her phone from her pants pocket.

     "Can i get your number?"Li Xie told her and they were friends on weibo.

    "Sister-in-law,i need to leave. My flight is leaving in thirty minutes"

    Li Xie was shocked, she thought zhang Xiaolu was here because Zhang Linfen sent her, she pouted her lips in disappointment but nodded everstill.

    "Sis-in-law,less i forget, please don't tell big brother about my visit here. He didn't know i came here and will be so mad that i neglected my studies"she said with her big eyes bulging out making her look like a puppy.

     Li Xie understood her point of view,if she was in the same shoes as Zhang Linfen and Wen shaiman did this, she will so much reprimand him.

     "Don't worry,i won't tell. Hurry up, don't miss your flight"Li Xie said as Zhang Xiaolu nodded hugging her, after releasing her,they disentangled as they bid each other goodbye.
