Chapter 21: Help? or Attack?

Everything was going really well earlier. But now, I don't know what to do. I have no guts to hurt him. I can't even cut him. He's so strong to escape every attack of mine, but I am also the same. The only difference with the two of us, was he kept on attacking me while I don't.

"Don't you remember me?! I'm the one who helped you!" I said and dodged another attack. This time, he tried to punch me in the face. But, like earlier, I escaped and it lead to the destruction of our sorroundings.

"Did you really think you'll leave to see another day?! HAHAHA! Just die!" He said and, that made me in pain as I see him raise his hand high up in the air. Then, in less than a second, I saw an axe like thing, flew towards his hand and he held it, ready to slash it at any moment.

"You don't have to do this! Control yourself!" I said, but he just rolled his eyes and started slashing me. "Stop that! You'll get yourself hurt!" I scolded him.

"More like, i'll kill you!" He laughed hysterically and continued slashing me with the axe.

And because of this, I was leave with no other chance, but to attack him. I held my wand and chanted.

"Oracle's Sword!" Then my wand turned itself into a sword. A long one like before and it's a good thing it was fast because he nearly hit me. I managed to block him with the sword, but he kicked me, making me stumble and fall.

I was about to stand back up my feet when I noticed him coming towards me while dragging his axe along with him.

"Ready to face your end?" He asked smiling evilly as he raised the axe and was about to attack again, when suddenly...

"Watch out!" I pushed him making him out of balance while I in replace of him, got shot by something in the shoulder. "Ow! Shit! That hurts like hell!" I screamed and I also noticed Chang'e Moon emerging from the sky.

And to my surprise. My wound healed in an instant. "Whaaa-???" Was all I could say before going towards the centaur's aid. He was knocked unconscious by what I did, so I tried to wake him up.

"Please help me heal him!" I pleaded and looked up. Then I remembered something...

I looked at him and at the crystal he was wearing. I held it and said.

"Chang'e Moon who gives us light~

Give me the power to heal as might~" Then, with a second, the crystal glowed into a mixture of White, Red, Purple and Orange.

"Please work, please work, please work." I thought.

"Ow! Wha-?" I looked at the centaur after hearing him groan in pain. He's alive! And...

"Thank goodness you're alright!" I said and embraced him, as tight as I could. "I thought you'd leave me." I cried and looked at him.

"What happened?" Then suddenly. It hit me. Earlier, someone tried to hurt him, so I stand up and looked around. But saw no one.

"I know that you're just hiding somewhere around there! Show yourself you coward!" I said, but no answer came. "I'm not afraid of you! So come on! Show yourself, or maybe you're as ugly as a beast to not show yourself? HA!" I said and tried my best not to stutter.

"Tch? What sort of brain do you have anyway?" I heard a voice in front of me. "If only I'd let you die. You're worth nothing anyway." He said and I could hear steady taps of feet from somewhere around.

I looked in front of me, and felt curious after seeing a man, wearing a black suit with a long sleeved jacket. It reached up to his knees and it also has a slit on the middle part, like he was a detective at work. The collar also up like he was wearing a vampire's cloak. The only difference, is that he has a gun and a holster intact at his waist and right knees. He also has some things like, grenade and the likes. His hair is black and has a white-ish color at the left front of it.

He has thick eyebrows and his eyes somehow seems familiar in some ways. Iris in navy blue color and a scar at the left eye. It was so calming to see such sad but brave eyes that I almost forgot who he was, and what he did.

"Excuse me! If I may tell you, I am the Pho-" I stopped midway, when I remembered that he is a stranger and that he may have been sent by dusk to spy on me. "Philosopher from the academy which dusk has attacked. And I am here to find something. A research if I may be honest." I said and tried my best to sound believing.

I also heard the centaur groaning in pain and when I looked at him, he was bleeding?! "Are you okay? Why are you bleeding?! I thought I was the one who-"

"I know you'll try to stop my attacks. That's why I shot two of my bullets, one was a fake and the other, as real one." The new man answered, making me look at him with anger.

"Are you freakin' serious?! A fake?! That one you shot me was a fake?! Thanks to the moon's help, I was able to heal quickly! I also bled you screwnut!" I lectured him, but he just looked at me like he had enough already.

"Is he just fuckin' serious?!"

"Just thank me. If it wasn't for my help, you would have been dead by now." He said as if he did something heroic. Well, he did, for some instant, but that doesn't mean i'll just forgive him from trying to kill and innocent person! "By the way, what is your name centaur?" He asked and I looked at my friend who is trying hard to stop the bleeding and breath steadily.

"Why you insolent little- huh?" I was about to attack that confidently high headed man, when the centaur stopped me from doing so.

"The name's Inabikari IV." He answered, making me look at him worriedly. "And I am the guardian of Genesis Academy!"
