"I told you that it was pointless to try the higher-tiered spells," Urlo laughed, he had finished his prayers some time ago, and hung back to watch what Uriel was doing.
"I drew it perfectly!" he cried with grievance, and he spent so much time and effort trying to get it done, the hardest part of it all was the number of times he had to let go of his eldrin and re-establish his connection with it.
Due to his repeated practice, he was now able to hold onto eldrin for a few minutes, but for a single cast of the spell he had to exhaust his time and give it a few minutes before his body could handle the process again.
In all, he spent about three hours trying to get the spell right but just when he thought he had done it perfectly it completely failed.
"Why didn't it work?" he turned to Urlo, aggrieved.
