Chapter 75

"After meeting with these lovely women one at a time over the past several months, my followers brought to my attention that of all things, you the Chieftain did not allow the women of your small and insignificant village to cultivate."

"If you had only done this, it wouldn't have been as easy for us to convince so many of your influential villagers to turn against you and to join our ranks. Besides, what better motivation is there, other than strength and power?"

"Speaking of a gold mine just waiting to be taken over by my household, I quickly made proper arrangements for a select few in this room to cultivate using very specific training tools. As you can tell by now, those tools allowed these women to draw out quite a bit of power in a short amount of time."

"Do not worry, my household only wants me to look over this village and continue building it using the resources at our disposal. And with you handing over the village leadership to your daughter, I will simply take her hand in marriage and create a new era for us all!" Jacob explained as everyone in the room except for Maria kowtowed to who they deemed their new leader.

"Now, before you are taken away and never heard from again, do you have anything else left to say before everything you owned and loved is taken away from you?" Jacob asked the Chieftain as another sign of torment. Jacob wanted the Chieftain to curse him until the very end to fuel the darkness within his own heart.

"If you think that you will be able to do what you wis-" trying to respond to Jacob's threat, the Chieftain coughed up another mouthful of blood before his body shut down and he fainted on the spot slowly twitching.

"Take this one away and make sure to lock him up in a place where he is unable to escape on his own. As for all of you, this operation will now begin. I trust that you all know what it is that you need to do?" Jacob asked his executives and the women warriors present.

"Yes milord!" everyone replied without a single moment of hesitation. The only thing that they had to their advantage was their individual strength. As long as everyone present acted before the villagers could come together to stop this madness, the operation would be a successful one!

With everyone now leaving to take on their own separate missions, Jacob started to walk towards the chair that the Chieftain would sit in during his meetings with the village's elders.

"This village was so poor and insignificant to the point where this chair of their leader is not even as valuable as an ordinary chair in one of my personal chambers back in the city." Jacob said out loud as two women warriors remained with Maria tied up between them.

"This will have to do for now." sitting down in the Chieftain's chair, Jacob then made a quick gesture towards the warriors to wake Maria up.

"Father?" Maria asked as she was woken up from her minor injuries. "What have you done!" screaming at Jacob, Maria tried to struggle free from the chains that tied her up. Alas, she was unable to break free and only showed Jacob how weak she still was compared to him.

"I wouldn't worry about such little matters. Instead, let me explain to you what will happen next, my future wife." Jacob responded in a sinister, yet gentle tone.

"You will never get away with this! The warriors of our village will find my father and you will die if not by his hands, mine!" Maria shouted out before one of the women warriors held her body down in a way where it looked as if she was bowing to her new master.

"The only problem with that scenario, is that it seems you are still lying to yourself. It is not every day that such a great opportunity lands on your doorsteps. Do you really not wish to rule over this village with me?" Jacob asked Maria as he gave her an evil gaze.

"You may not like this now because I had to be a little rough with your father, but for your, no, our future, it needed to be done. Besides, with this next phase, you can in fact be eliminated whenever I wish and it would not impact anything." Jacob said as he withdrew a dagger from the side of his body.

"My only use for you, is that you must know where that little brat is. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't have received such a scar on my body from an elder of my household!" slamming the dagger onto the table, Jacob stood back up before lifting up his shirt to reveal a horrible and large burn mark on his torso.

"I only had a single task, and that was to destroy Martin's squad that made up very strong potential threats to my household and that man's plans. Since I failed, and his squad returned to the city not only safely, but even stronger, I was punished accordingly!" Jacob shouted out before lifting the dagger off the table and approaching Maria.

"With the amount of poison that I soaked this dagger's blade in, it will be enough to keep you in a coma for the rest of your days. Just say the word and I will put you out of this misery. If not, stand up and greet your new husband!" holding the dagger to Maria's neck, Jacob had a crazed look in his eyes.

With a slow and very painful death nearing towards her, Maria was unable to decline such an offer as she tried to stand up. Seeing this, the two women warriors unshackled Maria's chains but remained vigilant.

"I thank you husband for convincing me of such little matters. I will support you until death do us apart." now hopeless, Maria accepted Jacob's offer and she sat with him at the table to await the news from the others.
