Elena's POV
Legend has it that lovers who kiss under the statue of the moon goddess will be together for life. As I held on to Luke tightly I couldn't help but hope that maybe, just maybe we could be like the lovers in the legend.
"Let's go back home. Tomorrow, I will personally settle the account with Gabriel," Luke said, clearly unhappy. Gabriel had gone too far this time by directly drugging me, leaving me in a state of confusion.
I touched the crystal necklace hanging around my neck and asked, "Did the potion really work?"
"I'm not sure. After we get back, let the doctor examine you carefully just to make sure. But as long as you have the blessing of the sea god around your neck, it can ensure your calmness."
I nodded and prepared to return to Pack with Luke to plan our next move. This time, we must make sure that Gabriel would never dare to try and appear in front of me again!
