France, September 23rd 1803

4:13 PM

Lucius, Marius, and the other soldier, whose name was Nathan, were pointing to their enemies. Those were the ones who were separating them from the victory.

Marius sighed softly. "I'll start the countdown," he said.

Lucius nodded his head in agreement, so Marius started. As soon as the man reached the 1, they started shooting at them.

The first three shots were able to hit the men. Three down, twelve to go. However, despite most of them being amateurs, those soldiers were already used to the tension of the war, so they were quick to react.

Two more of them died, and another one's leg was shot, however, the nine were able to escape it unscathed.

Lucius gritted his teeth. "Damn it," he complained.
