Chapter 4

She greets the audience and as a song starts everyone starts to cheer as she begins to sing Queen of the Night, and she sang the song goes on pretty well until some guy jumps up on stage Nigel is ready to pounce and attack, but realizing this emmy quickly turns around the holes out her had keeping Nigel from attacking she can send you singing and dancing with her fan until everyone started washing up onto the stage. The stage became crowded with people covering up the line of sight between Nigel and Emmy Nigel began to panic and signal for Donald and Frank to come rushing in to help him, Nigel grabbed a fire extinguisher and started pushing his way through the crowds of people only to find that emmy was no longer in the center but was being carried away biowave of crowd members, she was being thrown up and down in the air as she scream frantically trying to find a way to get down.

As the people in stage kept dancing he jumped off of the stage and started pushing his way through the crowds of people with the fire extinguisher until he finally reached emmy she was missing her headset someone had snatched it off her head and took it, I\he picked her up and ran her backstage, believe through the back exit leaving Robert there at the venue alone. The way back to her house it's silent as Nigel raps her and his jacket as he saw her she was sick shivering from the cold, he knew that she was scared because she shivered at the single word of the show.

Emmy; what do we have to do

My daughter was shocked by her remarks since it was out of the moment, he went to say something but was stopped by Thomas's hand being placed on his shoulder shaking his head, he grew close and whispered in his ear " look she's been through a lot just say some basic things don't overwhelm her". he shakes his head and begins to talk.

Nigel: Well now you know that there is a threat, and we've gotten all of the grounds up to date. There isn't much we can do but wait and see. I sent the notes to the stations around here and had them checked out, for now I need you to stay home for at least 2 days while I clear things with the police and try to get some things in place okay…

The car fell silent as they stopped at a red light, she quietly gave a yes and they continued, when they reached her home she went directly to bed just wanting to be alone, Nigel did the same as well.

The next day

Emmy does what she is told and stays at her astate while Nigel goes down to the FBI building to have a meeting with two of his best co-workers.

James: Nigel From what we've sstudy from this paper we can tell that all of this took time to do, was thought out and planned, and was done is precession there's no hair, markings, or fingerprints. But they did make one big mistake.

Nigel: And that was?

Dan: using a piece of mail as the note, it was turned inside out and written on, which led us right to his address where we arrested him.

Nigel: in he in intargation

Dan: with ronald

Nigel: okay

With that Nigel grabbed both of the notes off the table and started down the hall to interrogation, when he opened the door Ronald was already leaving and soped him.

Ronald: i know it's important that figure out whos threatening your client but, we have to let him go

Nigel: what! What do you mean let him go he treating to kill her son and her

Ronald: Nigel we can send someone to jail over some notes, and plue he's a winner he's going through some hormonal changes. He said he wasn't going to act on any of the stuff he would do in those notes

Nigel: Okay but how do you know he's note going to act on his words

Ronald: lie detector tests, we had a speech analyzer come in and a person trained in body language, this boy i promise is note the person trying to kill her

Nigel: well did you search his room, or house

Ronald: yes we only found materials used in making the notes

Nigel: uhhh fine, did you all look into that doll that blew up

Ronald: that doll had dynamite in it enough that could blow someone's hand clean off, kids his age cant get that much with parent supervision and he lives alone

Nigel: okay but i'm keeping my eye on him no matter what

Nigel walked away out of the building.

Back at the house, Emmy was being briefed on the award ceremony that would be happening soon.

Robert: Okay so what's going to go down at this ceremony, you're going to be hosting alongside Rolled uperton up until the best song in a feature length film, okay.

Emmy: okay and when is the ceremony again

Robert: 3 months from now

Nigel: So in other words we have 3 months to figure out whos trying to kill miss maron or she gets kill on live television

Tomas: don't put it like that, so what did they say

Nigel: Well the person who's been sending her the notes is a minor, so there isn't much we can do with that, the doll that blew the tv was actually filled with dynamite capable of blowing someone's hand clean off. So there is someone trying to kill her.

Robert: okay okay that's enough now we must let the pretty lady get her rest

Emmy: I'm going for a walk

Nigel: I'll come with

Emmy pov

I sort of had a thing for him but I just don't want to call it now. It's only a temporary situation at the moment and I can't be making commitments just yet. We've barely gotten to know anything about each other and I don't think he wants to know about me. I hate it but love him so much.

Nigel pov

I left the room I came in and went to my room and changed into some exercise clothes. When I finally finished I found her and we began to walk. She was going for a jog so I had to keep up. But for some reason she stopped suddenly.

Nigel: What wrong?

Emmy: I just wanted to ask you something?

Nigel: What do you want to ask?

Emmy: since you're my bodyguard that means you have to go everywhere I go so….., that means i can't go on a date unless i go with you.

Nigel: a-are you asking me on a date

Emmy: only if you want to

She said turning away from me as her cheeks grew a bright red, I lay a hand on her arm on her shoulder.

Nigel: you know that wouldn't be a bad idea, how about tomorrow

Emmy: sounds great

Emily pov

I watched from the brush of the pathway, I overheard their conversation, that man is hot. I can't like it but why does she get to have him? Why not me. Emmy has everything in the spotlight every second of the day and what do i have a sister that outshines me at every wheel. She even got the man of my dreams, this was just unfair at this point and unbelievable. I know it's wrong what I did but it's my turn to have something to be known for.

I quietly move away from the brush and go back to the dance studio, I usually dance my feelings and pain away. So when I was running around following Emmy's lead I was dancing or knitting.

Nigel and Emmy walked all the way back to the house when they were in sight of people they stopped talking wanting to keep their emotional findings to themselves, they slit their ways. Nigel spends his day wandering the halls of the house checking exits and windows until he comes across the dance studio where emmys sister Emily was dancing like no one was watching, he watches for a few seconds before he knocks to wanting to just barge in on her dancing.

When he is noticed by Emily, she wipes her forehead and turns off the music, rushing to the road she opens it.

Nigel: sorry to intrude

Emily: no no no your fine "really fine" so whats brings you to my little slice of heaven

Nigel: do you spend a lot of time in here

Emily: I'm the only one who really likes exercising in this house so yes

Nigel does a spin taking in the room when his eye gets caught on the window filled with pictures and notes, he points to it as he walks over to it.

Emily: Oh that my own ego wall, no platinum records sadly

Nigel focuses on one particular photo of emily and emmy, in a band when they were little

Emily: emmy was always the one of the two of us that was in the spotlight

Nigel: I see so It was nice meeting you, is there anything you would want me to call you by

Emily: emily will suffice

Nigel: well see you when i see you

They shake hands and Nigel leaves the room uncomfortable as he can tell she is still staring into his back when he hits the corner out of her line of sight, his thoughts start racing all over the place. She acted very getty, maybe adrenaline or something. He pushes it off thinking it was just an inopportune time for her and she was stressed, and he goes back to his room.

The next day went normally until that night, they sunk out of the house in the cover of darkness and began their date.
