To Be

"Gabby, mum and dad died in a car crash." My brother said to me with a very confused expression.

I buried my facein my hand from embarrassment.

"She did not kill them but she killed me." I mumbled climbing from the bed. "You are not to follow her ever again, did you hear me?." I asked him.

"I can do whatever I want and if I want to talk to her, I would." Tommy said.

I felt my blood boiling, not him too.

"You're falling for her just like everybody else, mum and dad fell for her and disregarded me, immediately Kaya came into my life she has stolen everything from me, everything." I said remembering all the times my own parents chose her instead of me.

My father who was the worst father to me, was literally the best father to Kaya. 

I rue the day I decided to speak to her, she was just five then and I was excited that someone in the same block was five too.
