The First Date

Ava woke up early the next morning, her heart still buzzing with excitement from the night before. Jack had told her that he loved her, and she had told him that she loved him back. It was the happiest she had ever felt.

As she got ready for work, Ava couldn't help but replay the events of the previous night in her mind. She knew that she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Jack, but she didn't want to rush anything. They had only been dating for a few weeks, after all.

Throughout the day, Ava found it hard to concentrate on her work. All she could think about was Jack and their future together.

When she got home that evening, Jack was waiting for her outside her apartment. He had a huge smile on his face, and Ava felt her heart skip a beat.

"I have something I want to show you," Jack said, taking her hand and leading her to his car.

They drove to the outskirts of the city, to a beautiful park overlooking a lake. Jack had set up a picnic blanket and a basket of food.

As they ate, Jack kept glancing at Ava, his eyes full of love and tenderness.

"Ava," he said, taking her hand. "I know we haven't been dating for very long, but I can't imagine my life without you. I love you more than anything in this world, and I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy."

Ava's heart raced as Jack got down on one knee, pulling out a small velvet box.

"Ava, will you marry me?"

Tears sprang to Ava's eyes as she opened the box to reveal a stunning diamond ring.

"Yes!" she cried, throwing her arms around Jack's neck.

They held each other tightly, both of them overcome with emotion.

As they walked back to the car, Ava felt like she was walking on air. She couldn't believe that she had found someone who loved her so deeply.

When they got back to Ava's apartment, Jack swept her off her feet and carried her inside. They spent the rest of the night in each other's arms, talking about their future together.

Jack pulled her close, kissing her forehead. "Hey, it's okay," he said softly. "We'll get through this together. And no matter what happens, I'll always be here for you."

His words were like a balm to Ava's soul. She knew that she could always count on Jack to be there for her, no matter what.

As the wedding approached, Ava's nerves began to fray. She worried that something would go wrong, that she would mess something up. But Jack was always there to calm her down, to remind her that everything would be okay.

Finally, the day of the wedding arrived. Ava woke up early, her heart pounding with excitement. She spent hours getting ready, putting on her dress, and doing her hair and makeup.

When she walked down the aisle, she felt like she was in a dream. Jack was waiting for her at the end, his eyes full of love and admiration.
