Reign planned a way out in her head, and moved to action.
"Why are you here?" She asked Alice in a stern voice.
Alice raised the glass she was holding, but kept her eyes on Ace.
"To return this," she replied.
"This early in the morning? Shouldn't you be resting?"
Alice's brows curved in disbelief. "I could ask you the same question, ma'am."
Reign opened her mouth to respond when Ace swayed and almost collapsed to the ground.
Her hand reflexively shot out to catch him before he could fall.
She steadied him, and made sure he was still, before returning her attention to Alice.
"Are you questioning my movements in this house? Who exactly do you think you are?" She went on the attack.
"I didn't mean to question you, ma'am. I was just trying to point out how sometimes, we can't control certain things."
"Alright, now that you've made that clear, drop off the glass, and return to your room," Reign commanded.
