CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY-FOUR

AUTHOR'S POV

"No, she's not" She sharply reprimanded, sending a cloud of sadness to Michael's joyful face.

"Who are you to begrudge me of seeing my nephew?" Dera snarled in response to the exchange between Selena and Michael. "Mary has given her permission, why don't you fuck off?" She voiced bitterly, anger seeping through through her phone and pouring right into Selena's ear.

She shifted the phone away for seconds, before taking it back to give a response.

"Because you once..." She began but stopped midway. She wasn't senseless enough to accuse Dera of poisoning, especially when Michael's ear was still elephant-open.

"I'll have to speak to Mary myself" She switched her intended statement into a less offensive one. Inasmuch as she didn't want Dera to step foot into the house, It wasn't her wish to outrightly start a war.
