Chapter 28

Yvonne gently pushed Logan away, her movements guided by a mix of surprise and discomfort.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Alexis exclaimed, her expression stern.

"Shut up!" Logan retorted, redirecting his attention towards Yvonne. 

"I thought you were dead; how come you are here?" Logan continued, his grip tightening as he held Yvonne's hand. 

"Well..."

Yvonne, feeling uneasy, glanced at Dr. Phillip, silently seeking support. Sensing her discomfort, Alexis intervened, her tone firm. 

"You are making her uncomfortable. Stay two feet away from her," Alexis instructed.

Realizing his mistake, Logan withdrew his hand. "Sorry about that; I was very excited to see you."

Yvonne managed a nod and a polite smile. 

"Logan, you are just right on time; I was about to leave." Dr. Phillip said. 

Logan shifted his attention to his father.

"Oh, I forgot you were here," he admitted, scratching his head.
