The specialist rose to his feet and was surprised to see his ex-best friend, who now stood before them, gun pointing at Yvonne and Alisa. 

"You..." Yvonne began, her voice trembling with fear. 

Yvonne wanted to stand up, but the specialist held his hand up to stop her. "Don't stand up; if you disrupt the transfer, your daughter will die." 

"What are you doing here?" he demanded as he stood in front of the bed. "You must have a death wish by coming here." 

The assailant chuckled. "I'm only doing my job. I don't want to kill you, so stepped aside," he ordered. 

"Kill me?" The specialist scoffed. "You must have been taking orders from people for money. Who are you taking orders from?" 

"Why do I need to tell you?" he retorted. "Just get out of my way right now!" he shouted. 

"I'm not moving," he said. "You'll have to kill me, or else I will kill you. I can't believe you'd stoop this low because you are hungry for power."
