Edward narrowed his eyes, pounding on the door even louder.

Damn it!!

"Absolutely locked!"

Edward immediately grabbed his cell phone, trying to tell Ethan that he was locked up in the warehouse.

Right when the connection was connected, the phone immediately ran out of battery.

"Shit!!"

Edward cursed softly. It was the first time he was this panicked. Locked up in a barn alone in the pouring rain, even worse when the holiday season begins.

Don't let him be cooped up here until the new school year starts, damn it!!

He could die then.

Edward rubbed his face roughly. It's all because of Ethan's letter. He shouldn't have needed to help Ethan earlier.

If so, how will he get out? Edward wasn't sure the driver his father had sent him would find him here in time.
