The next morning, she attended class as usual and followed her normal routine.

That night, Liu Feihong brought them out because her boyfriend, Senior Jiang had wanted to treat them all to a meal.

Jiang Cheng was studying for his PhD in Criminal Psychology and was a genuinely nice guy. He and Liu Feihong had been dating for 2 years.

Zhou Lengxin did not like to socialize very much, but she almost never rejected a free meal.

That night they all got drunk except for her who had never experienced being intoxicated due to her inhuman alcohol tolerance.

As the sole sober person, she sent them all home in taxis and then proceeded to go late night shopping.

She had recently broken her headset while gaming and needed to buy a new one.

Funny story actually, there was a toxic player on the server who started provoking every player in sight. In the end, she had gotten so fed up, she jumped from her seat and slammed the table, causing the headset to crash to the ground. And then, she ended up accidentally stepping on them...

Fortunately, there was a reputable electronics and game store by the campus.

Zhou Lengxin could not find the same headset she had been using, but they had other models of the same brand (it was her favorite). Unable to make up her mind between two designs, the employee started getting impatient.

"Listen, they're about the same anyways, it doesn't matter which one you buy." He said dismissively, it was late, he needed this indecisive customer to make up her mind so he could end his shift.

"Actually, this one is slightly better in terms of mic and sound quality despite only being a bit more expensive, while this one has a nice design and it's very popular, but the quality can't match up to the former." A low voice came from over her shoulder, stunning the employee.

"Thank you, I'll take this one then." She held up the one he had subtlety recommended.

The man behind let out a soft chuckle causing her to turn her head.

'What a handsome guy, he must be very popular.'

She only briefly glanced at him, but she could tell from his tall, lean, and muscular body and his tall nose bridge, defined jawline, and that velvety voice. Definitely a hottie!

Nonetheless, she thanked him politely and just left.

Mentally, Zhou Lengxin dubbed him "The Game Store Prince".

"Dear customer, are you here to purchase anything? Otherwise I'm going to end my shift."

The handsome man smiled a bewitching smile and said in his melodious voice, "Wrap up another one of the one she just bought please."

When Zhou Lengxin returned to the dorm, she made sure there were three complete and breathing bodies inside. All of them were passed in their respective bunks.

Quietly, she tiptoed into the bathroom with her phone.

"Hello? Hey Ma... Yes, I've eaten. I went with my roommates, they're all asleep... Yes, I know, I sleep soon... En, I'm doing well, how are things at home?"

Mama Zhou grilled her daughter on when she was going to introduce a boyfriend to her.

"Kiddo, do you need me to introduce someone nice to you? Clearly, it's not your face since I gave you my good genes, so why can't you manage to snag a nice man?"

"..."

Zhou Lengxin had been on a total of four blind dates at the insistence of her dear mother... Everything. Single. One. Was. A. Disaster.

All them were still single for a reason, she didn't have a boyfriend because she chose to, okay?!!
