The Black Wizard, his assistant, the mayor, and the other envoys had visited two houses so far; the Austin's and the Knightley's. They had some delays at the Knightley's home. Mrs. Paula Knightley insisted on showing her many collections of baby clothes for her baby. And then, there were some adorable toys, cute baby shoes, and a knitted muffler made by Paula. She also flaunted the baby crib Carlo built himself for their future baby. Her husband was never good with his hands for handiwork. But he tried. And it took him months to finish the crib and make sure it was sturdy and safe for their baby. Over the crib, there was a mobile of handcrafted wooden little fairies and elves pieces. And there was a good luck charm hanging on it which Carlo's mother gifted them so Paula would give birth safely, and her baby would be born healthy.
Too bad the Knightley couple missed their chance to use the good luck charm.
