Chapter 3

Soon enough though the bus will get to the ' Adekoya ' home and it will be chaos. They will have to wait atleast five minutes before all five of the children will be settled in the bus. She will watch as they trooped out of their gate with their mother who was overseeing the maid making sure that none of her gems had left their lunchbox at home. There had been a day when one of the five had left his lunchbox at home and the bus was about to leave the estate, their mother had called and insisted that the bus turn back.

After they were settled in the bus it will become a different place with the children who were between the ages of three and ten chattering nonstop. It seemed to Kiishi that they simply did not know how to be quiet, it did not matter how many times the bus assistant screamed ' keep quiet ' they will ignore her and continue their talk.

This was why she hated taking the bus to school every morning because once the Adekoya children were in the bus she could not concentrate. Sometimes she would sneak her phone into the bus plug in her ears with an airpod and wear a hoodie to hide her crime.

This particular morning however, Kiishi did not have her phone and the Adekoya children had decided to reminisce on hit songs from the previous year and they were currently singing phyno's fada fada at the top of their voices. The youngest of them, Tanwa decided that she was having none of it and had instead taking to crying to showcase her talents. It was the most excruciating singing contest and the bus assistant, Elizabeth was only making matters worst by shouting ' keep quiet ' ' be quiet ' ' stop making noise, ' she had a mind to tell Elizabeth to just shut up.

When they arrived in school Kiishi was only to happy to escape the bus which had been made worse by Tanwa throwing up her breakfast of indomie and eggs.

" Kiishi " her friend Bisola screamed at the top of her voice on seeing her.

" Ola this one that you're excited to see me hope nothing? I did not bring pringles if that is what you are after. " Kiishi said.

" We both know you are not telling the truth but that is not why. Guess what? " Of course Bisola was right Kiishi had her pringles in her bag.

" What? " Kiishi scoffed out.

" You will not believe it! " Bisola squealed much to the irritation of Kiishi.

" Abeg I don't have time for all this your merry go round o. Just go straight to the point. " Kiishi was not one to have the patience of prologues.

" Mrs Danjuma and Mr Sam were caught in the very act. " Bisola places emphatic stress on the very.

" You mean they were caught having sex? " Kiishi's voice picks up interest.

" Yes. You will not believe... "

" Where did they do it? " Kiishi asks cutting Bisola off.
