"Eran!" Kain called out in a voice full of surprise, breaking the relaxed atmosphere in his head. Currently, Kain's face was filled with disbelief.
"Lower your voice, Kain," Eran requested, trying to suppress the panic reflected on his face as he approached Kain and sat beside him.
"Is this... is this you, Eran?" Kain asked, his eyes scrutinizing every expression on Eran's face with unmistakable disbelief. Kain still seemed uncertain, he even briefly thought that Eran was a ghost.
"Damn, you scared me. Don't look at me like that!" Eran exclaimed, his voice in disagreement, and he gently patted Kain's shoulder, trying to bring comfort into the uncertainty that hung in the air. However, confusion was evident in his eyes.
