Madeline shyly straddled herself against Cassian's thighs like he had told her to, and she adjusted herself properly to make sure she was comfortable with the way she was sitting before stopping in her movements. Taking both her hands off his shoulders, the young lad intertwined their fingers together as they gazed into each other's eyes.

The room was dimly lit by the flickering candles, casting a golden glow over their entwined bodies, and Madeline could feel her heart palpitating against her chest as though it would create a hole and flee from the suspense Cassian had deliberately put her into.

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" With his pretty brow cocked in a tempting inquiry, Madeline's lips parted, but there was no word that came out of it as he watched her cheeks burn, matching the flames of the glowing candle and she never looked prettier.
