I thought the worst part is over, but it's just starting.

The gig went well, everyone liked our set. I think, coz they even asked for one last song. Jaz didn't scold me that much maybe because he also thought I did well in my performance. On the other hand, I won the Taekwondo competition, second place, not bad but I really want to get the gold.

After the gig, we had more practice, more gigs over the weekends. School schedule is tight plus Taekwondo practice. This is the busiest moment of my entire high school life.

"Where have you been lately? We don't hang around that much anymore." Chloe was pouting as if like a little kid.

"I'm sorry I cannot hang with you guys that much because I have to help out at home also." I lied.

"Awww, but when can we hang around again?" Chloe was very persistent.

"Next, week! Cause you can't say NO to my birthday celebration. You promised that you will be there." Heleina said. She was smiling as if she knew something I didn't.

"...o..k.."

KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA JAZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!JAZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These girls never stop.

"What's that about?" Chloe said.

"I think he is coming this way. I should leave. Good luck girls"

I said then packed my stuff back in my bag, I don't want to hear anything that he is about to say.

"Don't go, we need you." Chloe was using her puppy dog eyes on me again.

"Need me for what?" and before I can say another word, there goes that jerk talking as if he's the king.

"Hi. Can I talk to you for a while?" he said.

"Me?" Chloe and Heleina said in unison.

"Nope, I mean Jadis." I was so surprised to hear that from him.

There was deafening silence. I can't hear the girls screaming on the background. I can't even hear the wind blowing even if I can see how the skirts are flying up cause of the wind blowing.

All eyes are on me. All I can hear is my heart beating. Louder and louder .

"Why her?" Heleina said.

"Cause I want to ask her something. "he arrogantly said.

"What do you need?" I asked immediately.

"Come with me" as he turned, I think he was expecting me to follow him.But I won't.

"Clow, Lei, let's go, that lunatic is out of his mind." I told my friends who looked so shocked.

We walked as fast as we could away from him. Why would I follow that jerk around.

As I turn to my friends, I noticed, Heleina was gone.

"Clow, where's Heleina?"

"I don't know, I thought she was just behind me"

Oh my gosh. She followed him.

*Facepalm*

"We have to wait for Heleina" I said.

" I think we should too. "

After a few minutes... I saw Helena running back to our direction.

"What happened?!" I asked.

She looked at me like it was my fault.

"I'm going home" Heleina left, it felt like she is surprised and angry at the same time.

Me and Chloe just went home together. I was about to tell her something when she spoke.

"Do you like Jaz?" she asked.

"No. Yo can have him to yourself." I answered immediately

Heleina seemed so upset. "I felt sad too when Jaz came and asked for you. Are you hiding something from us? Do you and---" I need to cut her off before she can even say a word.

"NO. It won't happen." I need to assure them.

"Just to let you know, it's fine if you like him too. I think it's still Jaz's decision if he will choose someone from our class or anyone on that matter. "

"Yeah, but to me, not a chance."

"Be careful. I don't want to say 'I told you so' to you" Chloe is just making issues that won't happen.

When I got home I called Heleina, I was worried that, that Jaz jerk told some lie about me to Heleina.

No answer.

I think that jerk really did something to Heleina. Something to make her feel bad towards me.

I will kill that jerk tomorrow.

Kringggg! Kring!!!!!!

"Benz? What does he want?.... Hello?" I answered.

"Practice. 3pm. Don't be late. Jaz is pissed off." He was rushing too. What's wrong.

I went upstairs to change and make sure my disguise will not be blown off. I used my dad's car.

Practice time.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!?!? We've been playing this four times now, why can't you get it? " Jaz was shouting at me.

So the jerk was really pissed off.

" Hey, calm down. It's alright. Let's take a break. " Will said then went to calm Jaz. Karlie went to my direction and try to console me.

" I'm fine. I'm not affected by it. " I said.

" I know. l just want to make sure. "

He smiled at me.

Bright, reassuring smile.

His smile really is comforting. I wish he would smile more than be serious all the time.

"AGAIN" Jaz said.

It was almost 6pm when we finished. I'm so exhausted. I checked my phone and saw 10missed calls from Chloe and 25 missed calls from Heleina.

Shit.

"Hey, what's up? Sorry I wasn't really paying attention to my phone. I was sleeping." I called Chloe.

"Come to Heleina's house, she needs to talk to you. Now" Chloe said. I can hear Heleina sobbing in the background.

"On my way" I told them.

Karlie saw me rushed outside and tried to stop me.

"Wait, where are you going?" He asked.

" I'm leaving. We're done right? " I replied which confusion.

"yeah, but the gig schedule. How abou---" I cut him off

"please, I need to go." he let go of my hand and i rushed to my car and drove away.

When I go to Heleinas's house, I saw them in her room. Heleina's eyes are swelled up from crying.

"What....What happened?" I asked.

"She got rejected." Chloe said.

"By Jaz?"

"Yeah."

"He said he wouldn't like me in anyway. I'm too plain and boring. He likes you" Heleina pouted in between words.

" WHAT?! He said that?"

That jerk.

"Yeah. and when I asked why, he told me, to stop asking coz I am annoying." and there she goes again, crying.

"Chloe, "looking at my friend.

"I told you so, you'll never know"Chloe said.

"No. He's just messing with you. I will kill that bastard."I said clenching my fist to show how angry I am.

"Do us a favor. "Heleina said

"Anything."I answered.

"STAY AWAY FROM JAZ. If what you're saying is true, then stay away from him. So he won't fall for you anymore." Heleina said.

She sounded desperate.

"No problem. Consider it done," I made sure of that.

Now I want to know what that jerk told my friends.
