Sophia relaxed on her plush bed, flipping through TV channels. The previous night's dinner with Alex's family still lingered in her mind. Their harsh words and condescending tones echoed, but she pushed the thoughts aside, focusing on the present.
"It's just for a while." she thought to herself. "Once this is over, I'll finally be free from all the harsh words, and hostility."
As she browsed through fashion channels, Sophia's eyes landed on a stunning evening gown. She gasped, imagining herself wearing it.
"Time to find the perfect dress," Sophia said to herself, excitement sparkling in her eyes.
Alex had earlier told her that they would be going out for dinner tonight so that he could make up for the way his family had treated her at the previous dinner.
"It's not necessary. I already told you it's fine." Sophia had said to Alex, trying to persuade him to forget about the dinner, but Alex was persistent.
