"Smith... Face it, you are no match for me, I'll kill you effortlessly." Rayman said, pushing his blade so close to Smith's chest that it already started piecing against his skin.
Smith groaned as blood trickled down his chest. He could feel Rayman's blade cutting through him slowly. Suddenly, their gaze met, and the memories of the good times they had as friends came flooding back into Rayman's memory.
"I can't... Kill him." Rayman said in his mind.
Just then, Rayman hesitated, forgetting that Smith was also pushing back with all his might.

Everything seemed to slow down, as Rayman dropped to the ground, a gaping slash in his chest, blood splattered on Smith's face, and on the ground too, forming a puddle of blood around Rayman.
Smith's eyes widened in horror as he saw Rayman lying on the ground helpless. "Ray!" He yelled, rushing to his side.
