The Angel’s Love(The Fallen Angel)

"You're taking this far, it's really dangerous, how could you believe a stranger" Larisa scolded Riana worriedly.

 "No am not, I'll do anything just to be with him" she said determined. 

 "You know anything you do I'll always support you, just be careful if anything happens don't hesitate to let me know" Larisa said.

 Riana nodded smiling at her.

 "Why do you keep looking at the door, are you expecting someone" Collins asked puzzled as to why he kept looking at the door.

 "It's nothing, did I tell you, Alicia is around and already in the mansion" Ricardo said.

 "Really, what are you planning to do" he asked.

 "What else, it's not like I have a choice, you know my father and I have been pursuing this contract and it can only be valid, if I get married to her" he said with no interest.

 "I see, so you're just going to throw away your feelings" he asked.

 What feelings? Ricardo asked not looking at him.

 "You don't have to deny it, I know you have feelings for Riana" he said.

 You think so?

 "I don't think so, I know so".

 "She's not my type, stop exaggerating" he said.

 "Are you trying to convince me or yourself"!Collins said staring at him.

 "Collins please, I don't have a choice".

 Collins nodded, "don't regret it later".

 After a while a knock came in.

 "Yes come in" Ricardo said, Collins had already left the office.

 He looked up and saw someone he wasn't expecting. "Alicia".

 "Hi" she greeted.

 Ricardo just nodded.

 She sat down staring at his handsome face, she smiled warmly.

 "Why are you here" he asked breaking the silence.

 "I came to see my man, you didn't come to check on me since the last time you dropped me off at the mansion" she said.

 Ricardo smirked "My man lol what a joke" he thought.

 She stood up and walked to where he sat, she whirled the chair to face her.

 "What do you think you're doing" he said glaring at her, if not for his father he would have thrown this lady in front of him out.

 She moved closer and bent wanting to kiss him, almost immediately the office door opened and he turned receiving the shock of his life, there she stood the person he has been yearning for. The kiss ended up on his cheek.

 Riana was more than happy, she didn't know how else she could explain how excited she was, she immediately ran to his office ignoring the stare she got

 Getting there, she pushed the door open, her eyes widened at the scene in front of her.

 "Riana" he muttered.

 Alicia turned to see who just interrupted her precious time with Ricardo, she gasped. How can someone be this beautiful, her eyes shone with jealousy.

 Riana eyes become teary, is he cheating on her she thought.

 Who's she? Alicia asked after some minutes of silence. It was enough that her moment with Ricardo was interrupted and now they just kept staring at each other not saying anything, and the way he was looking at her was something she Alicia could not take.

 Silence followed.

 "Am asking a question Ricardo, who's she? Alicia asked again getting impatient.

 "Leave" he said.

 Huh?

 "Leave Riana" he said folding his fist under the table.

 Riana was more than hurt, so he chose this lady over her, he didn't even care to give her an explanation. She immediately went out in tears, where did she get it all wrong.

 "You didn't answer my question" Alicia said after Riana went out.

 It doesn't matter and next time don't do what you just did he said resuming back to his work.

 Alicia only shrugged.

 "I want to go to the penthouse with you today" she said.

 Ricardo paused then nodded, it's for the best he thought, his heart was somehow in pains he decided to bury himself in work.

 Alicia smiled excited, but she was still curious about that lady and she was going to find out who she is.

 Riana was devastated, she didn't know what to do, she can't go back it will be so embarrassing and disappointing especially to her friend, she didn't even know if she could go back since there's a second Riana there.

 "Hey" someone called from behind.

 She turned to see who it was and was surprised to see him, she sniffed and went closer.

 "Huh, what happened? Why are you crying he asked.

 She immediately hugged him, it was as if the question he asked made her remembered what happened earlier and hot tears brimmed down her face.

 He was shocked, his heart skipped, he didn't hug her back he just stood there.

 After a while, Riana stepped away from him.

 "Am sorry, I didn't mean to" she said.

 "It's fine" he said and took a look at his shirt that was stained with her tears.

 Did anything happened? He asked.

 She nodded.

 "But what my main concern now is that I don't have anywhere to stay for now" she said.

 "I told you to give me a call if something happens what if I didn't meet you here" he said ignoring her words.

 "I don't know how to reach you with that" she said sniffing.

 "Do you even remembered my name" he asked.

 She quickly looked down, she can't lie, she didn't remember, that day Ricardo was all she could think of.

 "It's fine, the name is Brian" he said.

 Riana nodded.

 "If you don't mind, I can take you to my place to stay for the time being and would love you to explain what happened to me" Brian said.

 "Okay" she replied and they both left in his car.

 You did what? Collins asked not surprised.

 "I sent her away he said, it's for the best" he added.

 "If you can lie to yourself, do you think you can lie to me, your mouth is doing the talking but your eyes is saying otherwise" he said.

 "I'll be married in few months Collins, if not weeks so stop saying things about her" Ricardo said.

 "Fine, I'll respect your wish but don't later regret it" Collins said and went out.

 The pen in Ricardo's hand suffered a lot.

 "So he just sent you away, without giving you any explanation" Brian asked after Riana explained what transpired to him.

 She nodded and said " it's my fault, I should have at least asked him what are we or if he feels the same way I did". 

 "It's not your fault, he gave you the green light. That's bad of him, what are you planning to do next".

 "I don't know" she said.

 "I'll suggest you give him time, then after you can go to him and ask for explanation, it might not be the way you think" he said.

 "I will do that" she said nodding.

 "Ok, enough of that, what should I make for you" Brian said smiling.

 Riana blinked "make for her".

 "Do you know you're always cute whenever you do that" he said.

 Riana blushed, she quickly hid her shy face.

 Brian chuckled.

 "Never mind, I'll make something you're going to love" he said and entered the kitchen.

 At the realm****

 She entered the room and saw her sleeping, she went closer and sat down. She smiled rubbing her hair lovingly.

 "Am sorry child, I know you're not ready but it's for the best, your father and I will always make the best choices for you she said.

 She gave her a peck on her forehead and stood up, she glanced at her one more time and went out.

 Riana eyes flew open as soon as she went out, she smirked and shut her eyes back.
