CHAPTER 48 Reopening the Investigation

　　Wren's POV

　　I walked forward for a long time until the restlessness in my heart subsided as I was about to leave this secluded path. How could I keep falling for his antics? It was really embarrassing.

　　I took out my phone and opened the messaging app, preparing to send a message to Ralph.

　　Because of Hayden's sudden invitation this morning, we agreed to reschedule another time to visit Corris.

　　And Ralph was also planning to re-investigate the people around him that Alpha Silas had placed.

　　We knew about the one  maid who had deceived me by pretending to have seen Clover and set a trap for me had been transferred away from Ralph to a different area to avoid suspicion by Alpha Silas, but in reality, there must still be other informants around Ralph, and we needed to expose all of them first.

　　I typed out a message informing him that I was ready to go home.

　　Just as I sent the message, my phone vibrated, and I received a reply from Ralph.
