Seconds after, Frey had said that the streets were clear. The elf truck stopped by the corner that the Alpha confirmed to be safe. Darius then let the old man off with a strange smile on his face. "Sorry, Grandpa. I can only leave you here. Is your house far away?"
"Not really, but what will you do? You can't drive with that." The old man saw how Darius removed the stone from inside. With the power Darius was using to remove the huge rock, he felt like Darius was angry. "You're not planning to…"
"No, I'm not." Darius blatantly lied through his teeth. "See you around, Grandpa."
He then drove off and took a long cut back to their Estate. On his way, he reached out to pet Yona's head. "Sorry about that. Are you scared?"
"…no…" She then smiled up at Darius. "Second Master is here to protect me, just like what Mabel and Megan said. I don't have to be scared of other things… but you… but Second Master is not a scary person. I know that now."
