Emidio dismissed her and went directly to the woods to find Pedro. That bastard was in deep trouble for lusting after Daisy. He went to the pond and saw an ash wolf laying beside it. Its eyes were closed but they opened as soon as Emidio came closer. Emidio wasted no time in dealing with it. Lightening bolt came from his hands as it went directly to hit the wolf continuously. It kept on screaming loudly until it fell into the pond. Emidio finally stopped and glared as he saw Pedro come out of the water .

" Too harsh man". Pedro complained.

" Do you prefer having your furs shaved. Stare at her that way again and i will not only ensure you get electrified but will also ensure you get roasted for good. i hear some hunters eat wolfs after all". Pedro freaked out with shock. Emidio was surely over reacting. Even if he lusted after Miss Daisy, it was because she was really beautiful. Besides he had a wife whom he loves dearly .

" I love my mate and you don't love yours and yet you want to kill me because i stared. How ironic". Emidio raised his brows at him.

" I don't love her and so?. Our bond seems to be stronger so you should understand my actions and forgive me later in the future if i kill you because you stared at her".

" Future". Pedro repeated with a smirk . Emidio chuckled and rubbed his head.

" Future can mean tomorrow". Emidio's face was plastered with confusion. He did not even know why he said the word future and now he was finding a reasonable means to understand it. Pedro just continued to smirk.

"Come on love king, duty calls". Pedro said and tapped him.

" I thought you forgot about duty ?" . Emidio shook his head and removed Pedro's hands.

" Ay ay, if the people see their Alpha act like a kid , they would be shocked. I know i'm your best friend and Beta . I couldn't be here forever. Try to understand ok. This is why you need to stop rejecting your mates. I know how much it scares you but come on, life consists of happy and sad days and its the combination of both that makes it worthful".

" Shut the fuck up". Emidio slapped Pedro's head to shut him up. He hated this life lecture. He saw how his mother almost died when she lost his father. That was the disadvantage of having a mating bond. Ones there is deep love and one dies, the other life becomes hell. He was just a kid when he became the Alpha and all his mother filled him with was the darkness of having a mate. She kept on weeping daily which devastated him. Meanwhile as Daisy was on her way back to Emidio's room, a maid approached her , informing her that the queen mother wished to see her.
