Clyde's surprise was hidden behind a mask of indifference, but inside, his mind raced.
Who was this guy? Why wasn't he affected by his scent? It didn't make any sense.
Before he could press him for answers, however, the guy spoke up first, his tone laced with a hint of mockery.
"Heard you've got a missing half-brother out there," he said casually. "Why not just hunt him down and claim the Supreme Power for yourself?"
The question caught Clyde off guard, but he was practiced at hiding his emotions. His face remained impassive, his surprise well-masked.
