Chapter 45 Been Discovered

After the meal, Celeste and Nathalie chatted pleasantly. The atmosphere was extremely harmonious.

On the other hand, Douglas and Jacqueline sat embarrassedly and exchanged few words. They did not even make much eye contact.

At halfway through the boring lunch, Douglas couldn't bear it anymore. He stood up and found an excuse for himself. He claimed that he needed the bathroom then he left the private room.

As soon as he left, Nathalie began talking to Jacqueline.

"Andrea, Douglas is always like this. Don't blame him, okay? You are the prospective Roberts family's daughter-in-law, you could take the initiative to talk to him."

Jacqueline smiled and nodded her head obediently.

Celeste, who was next to her, covered her mouth and smiled, "Andrea is like that. She doesn't talk too much, but she understands these things."

"That's just what I like in a daughter-in-law."

The more Nathalie looked at her, the more she liked her. She took her hand and said tons of things.
