Amara kept mum. The necklace she had was like a keepsake, even if she learned the truth behind it, she didn't want to lose it. besides, the mage said that it was something like a protective charm. Wearing the necklace would mean hiding her existence from any link she encounters.

She wondered if Azer would recognize her if she took the necklace off.

The door opened with a loud thud. The three inside jumped in surprise from the sound. The mage frowned at the unexpected guest, Hansel, while Vida just raised her brow. Hansel was panting. He glanced around as if looking for someone, then, his eyes landed on Amara.
