Avery replied, "The first place on the trending list. Look at it yourself. You little girl, you're so good! You've won Zane Russell over."

Emma went nuts. Without hanging up the phone, she logged onto the site and saw that a topic titled "Zane Russell's new girlfriend", had been the hottest one among the trending lists.

When she clicked on it, she saw more than a dozen photos side by side, all of which were of her and Zane at the ribbon-cutting event the previous day. Moreover, from the time they got out of the car to the time they completed the ribbon-cutting, they seemed to have been affectionate throughout.
