Chapter 145 Beauty In Pain

Emma turned around and wanted to run out, but it was not a flat ground at all. Her high-heeled shoes hooked the root of a bamboo, and she fell down heavily.

The pain in her ankle made her gasp.

Liam didn't expect that she would fall to the ground in the blink of an eye. He quickly went over to her and squatted beside her. Seeing Emma covering her ankle with her hands, Liam frowned.

"You sprained your ankle? Let me have a look." After saying that, Liam reached out to lift her calf.

Emma hissed, "Don't it hurts..."

"How could you run around like that?" Liam chided softly.

Emma had nowhere to vent her anger, so she cursed in her heart. "It's obvious that you brought me here, how can it be my fault?"

Liam bent down and easily held her in his arms. Emma quickly wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Why are you so light with all the food you eat?" Liam asked with a frown.
