Lilac’s P.O.V
Panting, gasping and exhausted, I plopped down onto an empty patch of grass devoid of flyaway plastic cups and other debris, trying my best to catch my breath after having the best time of my life.
“Never. Again.” Dani said from beside me, covering her mouth with her hands like she was about to throw up.
“Eww! Don’t throw up here! Go to the washroom.” I told her half-heartedly.
But at that moment, my heart was too full, too contented. And I couldn’t believe it was because of riding the rollercoaster for the first time!
“Ugh!” Dani groaned, placing her hand in front of her mouth. “I think I’m gonna…”
She was up and running for the nearest bin to empty her guts of all the cotton candy and corn dogs she’s had since arriving at the fair this afternoon.
I don’t know if it was out of concern or if Liam asked him to, but Tawin went after Dani to make sure she was alright, just as Liam plopped down onto the grass next to me.
