Cameron’s P.O.V
Dust scattered into the wind as I gave chase to the reddish-brown wolf in front of me.
Alex was fast, but right now, he seemed faster than two Alphas chasing him.
‘What just happened?’ Alpha Krimson’s voice rang loud and clear inside my head, connecting through the bond that linked an Alpha to another. ‘Has he gone rogue?’
‘For the sake of everyone here, let’s pray to the goddess that he hasn’t,’ I told him, still running as fast as I could, trying to catch up to Alex.
‘It was his, wasn’t it? The last report that was shown at the meeting?’ Alpha Krimson was quick to catch on to the situation. ‘If so, why didn’t he take the antidote?’
‘Because he doesn’t trust it yet, the cure…none of us do.’ If we were talking about clarity, let’s begin with that shall we? The fact that no one in the pack was yet convinced of Krimson’s motives or intensions regarding mass producing the cure.
