CHAPTER SIX

Angel's POV

Waking up in the morning to my alarm blaring loudly isn't a pleasant way to start a day, most especially a school day.

"Shut the fuck up" I said reaching out for the alarm and shutting it off. Normally, I would throw the alarm against the wall but this alarm I just got from Amazon was a digital alarm; it was a fancy one and a bit pricey.

I rolled on my back pulling my duvet over my head in frustration and anger. After much deliberation on whether to go to school or not, I decided to go to school instead. I threw my duvet off my body, made my bed and went into the bathroom for a shower. I washed my body, deciding not to wash my hair because I washed it yesterday and I brushed my teeth. Then I went on to my skincare routine which is essential and I curled my hair slightly, putting it in waves. When I was done, I went into my closet to get dressed, put on some makeup.

After I got dressed, I grabbed my backpack after putting in my wallet, my phone and my headset and then went downstairs to the kitchen for some breakfast. When I got to the kitchen, I decided to make myself a proper breakfast because I had time. I made myself some buttermilk pancakes along with some orange juice and a bowl of fruits for breakfast. After I was through with breakfast, I washed the dirty dishes and made myself an iced latte to go.

I went to the drawer containing my car keys and I grabbed the keys to my Aston Martin DBX for the day,

After doing that, I grabbed my things, coffee and a box of KitKat and went to the garage. On getting to the garage, I made my way to my car for the day, got in, placed my bag and Kit Kat on the passenger seat. I put my coffee in the cup holder and turned on the car, then I connected my phone to the car via Bluetooth and started playing some songs from my personal playlist made by yours truly me. After doing that, I put on my seat belt and drove out of the garage and off to school not before closing the garage back though and turning on the security lock on my property.

When I got to school, I parked my car, turned it off, I threw the chocolates in my backpack. Then I grabbed my backpack, phone and coffee, got out of the car, locked it before making my way to the main building. When I got inside I spot Andy and headed straight to her.

"Hey Andy, how are you doing this morning" I greeted her opening my locker just as she slammed hers shut.

"Hi Angel, I'm alright and you" she replied pulling me into a tight hug.

"I'm great. Where are the boys" I asked handing her my coffee for safekeeping which she took a sip from before arranging my bag for the day and slamming my locker shut when I was done and took my coffee back from her.

"They are in a meeting with our parents concerning their induction ceremony that is coming up but they should be here before or after lunch" she replied as we walked to our first class which was Chemistry.

When we got to class, we sat at the middle and continued discussing random things seeing as our teacher was not around yet.

Ten minutes into our conversation, Miss Gates walked into the class just as the warning bell went off. She closed the door shut and went to her desk to prepare for the class. Andy and I pulled out our books and pens from our bags before facing Miss Gates.

"Good morning class" she greeted standing in front of the class.

"Good morning, Miss Gates" the class responded in chorus.

"Today, we are going to be discussing Chemical compounds" Miss Gates said starting the class.

Lunch break

During lunch, Andy and I were headed to the cafeteria to meet the boys seeing as they were already there, waiting for us with lunch from McDonalds. On our way there, Andy and I were discussing the details on the sleepover we planned on having this weekend which will be hosted by yours truly me.

On our way there, I saw Sara and one of her friends, Hazel, coming towards us with an angry expression on Sara's face.

"Oh dear" I said tiredly rolling my eyes. I nudged Andy and then discreetly pointed at Sara.

"Here we go" she said cracking her knuckles as if she was preparing for a fight. We glanced at each other, took a deep breath and looked at Sara and Hazel, who were already in front of us.

"Hey, you little bitch. Haven't I warned you to stay away from Jason. Why can't you understand the fact that he is mine, huh" she shouted angrily. I swear, I saw smoke coming out of her ears. I don't get why she keeps going for a guy that will never be hers. I mean, we all know that he is mine.

"Last time, I checked your name wasn't written on his forehead neither is he wearing a collar with your name on it" I said folding my hands across my chest while titling my head to the side a bit.

"You little bitch" she said slapping me across the face. I heard a series of gasps leave the mouths of the students in the hallway even Andy. It was a pretty hard slap because it hurt so bad but it pissed me off. There was no way I was going to let this little wolf toss me around anytime she wanted. I felt Alina (my wolf) and Elina (my angel) struggling to take control over my body. But it was hard to control them because I was so angry too. How can an angry person calm two wild creatures down. Let me tell you, it is impossible.

'Let us out Angel' Alina and Elina said in unison angrily.

'No let me handle it. If I let you guys have her, you would kill her' I said trying to push them back.

'Let us at her please. I promise we won't kill her and moreover you would partially be in control' Elina said.

'Fine have at her' I said relinquishing control to them partially.

After that swift conversation, I decided to let Alina and Elina take control partially because I didn't want Sara dead. I'm not that terrible, she may be annoying and a thorn in my flesh but I don't want to be the cause of her death. I don't want this mutt's blood on my hands.

"You shouldn't have done that" I said throwing a punch at her, which she tried to dodge but failed to. I heard a crack and a loud scream from Sara but I wasn't satisfied, all the pent up anger from her previous attack came rushing back, so I gave a roundhouse kick to the side of her head which made her fall to the ground. I saw Hazel coming towards me to help Sara but was stopped by Andy who pulled her by the hair. After seeing that Hazel wouldn't be a problem, turned to face Sara who was trying to get on her feet but I stopped her effort with a knee to the face which made her fall to the ground again but this time with a bloody nose, I grabbed her by the hair and slammed her against both side of the lockers repeatedly before I let her go. Then I got on top her and began throwing punches at her and let me tell you it was bloody but I didn't care because I was pissed. Like I said pent up anger.

"Don't you ever mess with me or Andy ever again" I said still punching her while she tried to block my punches weakly while screaming which only made my punch her harder.

Next, I heard a loud growl echo the halls before I could even look up to see who it was, I was thrown to the other side of the hall but I was quick to land on my feet if not I would have landed against the wall which would have left me in a pretty bad shape but not as bad as Sara. And that pissed me off, I was about to attack the person who threw me off when I looked up, I was shocked to see it was Jason; Alina and Elina's anger dissipated. My own mate did this not thinking about what could have happened to me. I looked at him angrily. I was pissed again, I felt Alina and Elina's anger come back in full force.

"Are you crazy" he growled at me, helping Sara up to her feet while Mason was holding Andy down and Aiden was helping Hazel.

"What the fuck are you doing attacking a pack member, Angel" he still holding Sara and didn't sit well with me and put a cherry on top of the sundae, the bitch was smirking even with her bloody face. I had to get out of here

"Fuck you Jason. The next time you raise your hand at me or pulled that little stunt you just pulled again, things will get ugly" I said well more like Elina said. Then I grabbed my bag from the ground and ran out of the building towards my car. I felt my control on her slipping off.

"Angel! Angel wait" I heard them call out but I ignored them because I had to get out of them because I was losing control of Elina(my angel side). She was slipping out. When I got to my car, I quickly searched for my keys when I found it, I unlocked the car, got in, threw my bag to the backseat, turned on the ignition and drove off like a maniac.

I drove until I was deep in the forest, way from civilization. I parked my car randomly, turned it off, pulled my jacket off and got out of the car. I quickly sniffed around to make sure there was no human or supernatural close by. Then I walked deeper into the woods still sniffing, when I was sure there was no one around, I took a deep breath and let out.

'Finally' Elina said in relief.

I felt my wings come out of my back which stung a little and I sighed in relief because I haven't let her out in months. Then I took off to the sky. I flew until I was in the clouds to make sure no one spots me. I played with birds more like scaring them which was funny, zooming past the trees in speed for the fun of it. I totally enjoyed myself and Elina was not angry anymore, she was calm and so was Alina.

After an hour or two of pure bliss and oblivion. I landed on the same spot I had started from and let my wings slip back in. Then all of a sudden, I heard a gasp, which made me quickly turn around to see who the person was.

When I did, I felt all my energy leave my body in shock. My face turned pale and my breath was caught in my throat. It was one of the people I couldn't hurt because I am to kill whoever found out about my secret in order to keep the secret. But this person, I couldn't kill because I cared about the person too much. The person was too dear to me.
