CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

Angel's POV

The date last night was magical. I'm still on cloud 9. He is definitely forgiven but he doesn't have to know yet. I mean who doesn't like being pampered. I need some babygirl treatment in my life. I was still in bed daydreaming about last night. I can't myself. It was lovely. Suddenly, there was an harsh knock on my door.

      "What do you want, Rory?" I asked sitting up on my bed.

      " It's currently 6:57am and we have school in an hour and you literally take an hour to get dressed" she said as she walked in through my door uninvited. She was dressed and ready for school.

     "Oh no. I completely forgot today was Monday" I said getting up from my bed and heading to the bathroom.

     "Yeah, I can see. I bet you are still daydreaming about the date last night" she said as she made herself comfortable on my bed.

      "No I wasn't. I mean, it's just a date. Nothing special" I said clearly lying as I walked into the bathroom.

      "That's what she said" Rory said mockingly.

      "For you information, I was daydreaming. I was in cloud 9" I stated as if that makes a difference while sticking me head out of the bathroom door. And Rory burst out laughing

      "Sis, it's the same thing. Jason really out did himself to have stuck in your head like this" she said still laughing.

      "Whatever. I'm going to take a shower" I said as I stripped out of my clothing, walked into the shower and had a quick shower. When I was done, I wrapped a towel around my body, walked to my sink and started brushing me teeth. After that I walked out of the bathroom to my vanity and went about my skincare routine and a light layer of makeup, ending with a lipgloss before going into my closet and I picked my preferred outfit for the day and got dressed.

        When I was done getting dressed, I applied my hair treatment, brushed it and left it in it's natural waves. I grabbed bag and put my books in it. I walked towards my bed where Rory was waiting for me, I grabbed my phone, my brand new Airpod max and my wallet.

     "Oh, you are done. Thank God" she said finally looking away from her phone. She got up and walked out the door with my trailing behind her.

     "What's for breakfast" I asked already feeling hungry.

     "We will get something on our way to school. It's already 7:35am, we don't have time for an homemade breakfast" Rory said as we walked down the stairs.

     "Okay. I will go pick a car" I said when we got to the kitchen.

     "I already did. Let's get going' Rory said as she grabbed her bag and the car keys which I had failed to see from the countertop.

      We went into the garage, Rory pressed the unlock button on the car key with her. We heard a noise and quickly followed it. We found the car pretty quickly.

     "Nice pick" I said smiling to Rory. The car she picked was a (Name of car). I loved the car just never really reached for it. We got into the car and drove out of the garage. Once out of our property, I set up the security system of the property from my phone.

         On our way to school, we stopped by a breakfast place for some food. I got a chocolate croissant and an iced latte with extra cinnamon. While Rory got a bagel and an iced matcha.

       After we got food, we droved to school and got there by 8:05am which means the final bell hasn't rung yet. We have 3mins to get to class. So, Rory quickly packed the car, we got out and  rushed to class with our breakfast in hand and our breakfast hanging on our shoulders. We were able to get into class before the finally bell rang. When we got to class, the History teacher, Mr. White  was already in class.

    "Thanks for joining us Angel and Aurora.

    "Good morning sir. It won't happen again" I said as we walked into class.

    "Good morning Mr.White" Rory greeted ever so respectfully.

    "Go take your seats. Let's begin" he said and we quickly did as we were told. When. We got to our seats, I quickly took the empty seat beside Jason while took the empty seat beside Aiden.

     "Morning baby" Jason greeted taking my food from me and setting it on the desk for me so I dropped my bag on the floor beside me.

    "Thanks baby. Morning" I said getting comfortable in my seat. I quickly dug into my bag and brought my notebook and pen out only to find my croissant missing. I dropped my book and pen on my desk and looked up and Jace and saw him taking a bite from my croissant. My jaw dropped iron in disbelief. I quickly grabbed the  croissant for him after he took his bite  pouting at him.

    "Not cool at all" I said still pouting which make Jace chuckle lowly to avoid grabbed the attention of Mr White while eating and taking notes as well.

       Through out the class, Jace was a menace. He never missed a chance to touch me and it was pretty distracting. I tried so hard to focus on whatever it is Mr.White was saying but it was not working. I ended up just taking notes from Andy.

         It's been a couple of hours and now it's time for lunch and I was starving. A single croissant doesn't get the job done. I need a greasy juice burger right now, at least two of them. I was speed walking to the cafeteria to meet up with the gang. They were already in the cafeteria because I had to use the bathroom.

     When I got to the cafeteria, I walked to our table to get my wallet only to see lunch waiting for me. I turned to Jace and saw him smiling at me.

    "Awwn babe. Thank you so much. How did you know I wanted a burger" I asked while taking my seat and pulling him in for a kiss. He earned it. He knows the way to my heart and it's through Food. His soft lips moved with mine softly. Suddenly, we heard a cough which made us pull away from the kiss.

    "Most of us are trying to eat here" Aiden sai make gagging sounds which made me laugh while Jace glared at him.

        Everything has been pretty quite lately. Ryker has struck in a while which is suspicious, puts me on edge but I decided not to dwell on it and enjoy the peace while it lasts. Because we all know it is the calm before the storm. I will do anything to protect my family. Whatever it takes. I just hope Jason forgives me in the long run.

   "Are you okay. Or is something wrong with your burger" Jason asked when he noticed I wasn't eating.

   "Nothing babe. Just thinking. Nothing important" I said giving him a kiss to distract him and it worked. He turned to his food and focused on the conversation he was having with Aiden and Mason. I looked up and saw Andy and Rory looking at me with concerned eyes but I gave a reassuring smile which put them at ease. I grabbed my burger and started eating. When I was done, I downed my coca-cola drink.

     When lunchtime was over, Andy, Rory and I went to our lockers to get out books for our next class which was Biology definitely not my favorite. While, we were doing that I spotted Sara and her crew coming out of a corner. Our eyes locked for a brief moment before Sara dropped her head and broke eye contact. I smirked at this because I could smell the fear rolling off her and it gave me joy. Ever since I put her in her place, she became a quite mouse. She avoided me like a plague. She was scared of me.

   "Hey, are you okay" Rory asked snapping her fingers in my face.

   "Yeah, of course I am" I said as I closed my locker shut.

   "Are you sure. You spaced out for a good two minutes or so" Andy said, shutting her locker as well. Not a moment longer, the warning bell sounded. So we immediately went to class.

     Finally, school was done for the day. I am so tired. I am in great need of a warm bath. I thought to myself just as Rory, Andy and I stepped out of the school building into the parking lot. We went to my car and took a seat on the hood as we waited for the guys. Few minutes later, I was nose deep in my phone when I smelled that my mate was near I looked up and saw the guys approaching us. I noticed that Rory and Andy were looking at them too. To be fair, they look good. They moved like they owned the place, which they technically do. The power and authority radiating off them was enough to make a mere wolf fall to his knees but to us their mates, it made them even more sexy in our sight. I know Jason would be a great alpha even greater than his ancestors, I could feel it but he doesn't know that yet. I am so proud of him and always will be.

     "Hey doll" Jace greeted when he finally got to me. I smiled at him as he pulled me in for a kiss.

     "Hi" I said softly against his lips when we pulled away from the kiss.

     "I missed you baby" he said placing a kiss of my neck.

     "You saw me a few minutes ago" I said smiling at him.

     "Still too long. I need to touch all the time. I need you close to me. I need to feel you, hold you, kiss you" he said as his hands roamed my body and he started sucking ony neck which made me sigh and whimper at the same time. I quickly placed my hands on his arms and pushed him away softly.

     "Stop Jace. We are in the parking lot" I said pulled his head from my neck which made him pout cutely at me. I smiled at him while running my hand through his hair to move the hair that fell to his face.

     "If you guys want to have sex. I know a great hotel you can go to" Aiden said interrupting out moment.

    "If you don't shut it. I would put you on patrol duty for a month" Jason said which made Aiden gasp in surprise as he placed his hand above his heart acting hurt.

    "You wouldn't dare" Aiden said squinting his eyes at Jason.

    "Try me" Jason said smirked which made us laugh.

     "Well, time for me to go" I said as I jumped down for the hood of my car which made Jason take a step back.

     "Where are you going" Jason asked wrapping his arms around me.

     "I need to get home. I have to do laundry today" I said looking up at him.

     "Can't you do it another day" he asked looking at me with pleading eyes.

      "No. I have to get it done today and I need to take  a few of my cars to the car wash" I said as I pulled away from him and I walked to the driver door of my car.

     "Umm Angel. I already planned to

to go to hang out with Aiden for a while. I would home in a few hours" Rory said to me giving me an apologetic look.

    "It's okay. I will be fine by myself" I said before I gave Jason a peck on the cheek before getting into my car.

    "Bye baby. I will call you later" Jason said as he helped me shut my car door. I watched as they got into Jason's SUV before I drove out of the parking lot towards my house.

     When I got home, I parked my car in the garage since I wasn't going to get this particular car washed. I went into my house. When I got to my room, I took a shower and got dressed in a comfy outfit.

    After I got dressed, I pulled my hair in a ponytail, put on a lip oil to moisturize my lips. Then I picked up my full laundry basket and went to the laundry room. I started sorting my clothes and put them in my clothes in the washing machine, put in some soup and turned it on. When I was done with that, I went back to my room to do some cleaning. I took out the trash, changed the sheets to some black ones. I dropped the dirty sheets in the laundry room before going to grab the vacuum cleaner from the storeroom. I vacuumed my room, arranged my closet, putting things back in their place. By the time, I was done, the clothes was done, I took it out and sort them out. Then I went to the garage found the dirtiest car, then I went grabbed the key to the car and drove it to the car wash.

    After getting the car washed, I went back home, picked another and another car and repeated this process three times before I decided that was enough for the day and I was exhausted. It was currently 7:25pm in the evening and I was starving, I hadn't eaten anything since lunch at school. As I pulled in front of my house, I received a message from Rory  tell me she was having dinner at Aiden's. I quickly drove the car into the garage. I felt my shoulder blades itching. As I walked into the house, the itching got worse, I felt Elina slamming against the mental barrier. She wanted to come out. This is not good. I tried to calm her down but it wasn't working.

    'Elina stop. Calm down' I said Elina trying to stop her.

    'I can't. Need to come out' Elina replied grunting.

   'Fuck. Just hang on'  I replied panting tiredly.

   I got up to my room, then I let my wings out ripped my top. I sighed in relief. It felt good to be free even if it's for a short time. I let my wings stay out for sometime which was enough time for Elina to calm down before I took it back in. I took a deep breath of relief.

     After that I got started on dinner for myself since Rory is having dinner at Aiden's. I made some creamy spaghetti carbonara with peas and ham. When it was ready, I poured some on a plate for myself. I grabbed a canned Pepsi and settled in the living room and started eating. I grabbed my remote and put on the new series I have been meaning to watch Citadel. In the middle of my dinner, Rory arrived and joined me in the movie. After eating, I took my dirty dishes to the kitchen, washed them, then I packed the leftover spaghetti and put them in the freezer. Then I went back and joined Rory in the living room.

   When it was 11pm, Rory and I decided to call it a night. I turned off the TV while Rory turned on the security system on our property. When we were through, we went upstairs to our rooms. When I got to my room, I quickly took a shower before getting ready for for bed. I got into bed, plugged my phone before laying down and dozing off almost immediately.

   Morning....

        I woke up to my blaring alarm. I grabbed it and threw it against the wall angrily. I swear I am not a morning person. I turned and laid on my back exhaustingly. So tired. I got up from bed and went to the bathroom to get ready from school. I took a quick shower and got ready for school. I grabbed the stuff I needed for school today and threw them into my bag before going downstairs. I looked around and saw that Rory was yet to come down. I quickly heated up the cream spaghetti from last night for the both of us because I cooked a little too much. By the time Rory came downstairs, I had already served the pasta. We had a little chat before I gave her a plate, grabbed mine, took a seat and started eating. I grabbed a can coca-cola while Rory settled for a can Fanta. I picked a random key and we went to the garage. It ended up being a Volkswagen Tiguan 2022. We got in and drove straight to school.
