A Small Geography Lesson

Day 3 before moving to Iqualius city.

Chrysos examined the ingredients that he found in his spatial bag. He sat on a chair and looked outside the window. He really couldn't believe that he owned something so good that he neglected because his old self sealed his memories so deeply that he couldn't even access 90% of it.

It was a good thing that Vedian came along and told him a story that acted as a stimulus and it even unlocked certain memories. It clarified many questions that Gerald has about Chrysos' identity and how he even got in Ironmountain in the first place.

Turns out, he was supposed to be running away from Aroiis city for whatever reason.

He took a couple of huge books from the spatial bag and saw that they were all handwritten books from Chrysos himself. Gerald opened one and saw diagrams of creatures.

The drawings of the creatures were sometimes nice to look at, and some were grotesque looking with a lot of veins and teeth. The book has steps to create these creatures.

"These things are made from alchemy?" Chrysos initially thought that alchemy was all about material conversion, potion brewing, genetic manipulation, and elemental experimentation. This was the first time that he heard of using alchemy to create life.

As he continued reading, he remembered in his memory of the iron mountain ranges that Chrysos created a giant root that seemed semi sentient to kill the beast horde for him. He didn't expect that Chrysos actually created organisms for battle purposes.

He flipped through the pages and saw a drawing of a creature made of skinless flesh that has the texture of soft clay. This creature made of a mass of veins has multiple drawings with a human's arm. And in the description, it is said that it, "The creature's muscles increase angle momentum and strengthens the arm's swinging motion that it latched to. It digs through the arm's veins and once it does, it becomes a part of their body. The creature will disintegrate naturally after approximately 2 hours and fifty five minutes. Creature number: 72. Ingredients and procedures next page."

Chrysos nodded in understanding. That explains the creature's drawing of it latching on to a human arm and the drawings of it digging through the flesh to establish a neural connection with the host's brain. From what the book tells him, Chrysos could see that it can help him increase his throwing strength and sword swings to a considerable degree. And not only that, after examining all of the 9000 pages worth of the books he took, all of them had a lot of detailed procedures and the required alchemy ingredients ranging from Common level to Advanced Level.

Meaning, Chrysos can create this flesh creature and the other things in this book on any level that he wants. Of course, the higher the level, the more expensive and the more difficult the brewing process gets.

But for the current Chrysos, it was more than enough for him.

Chrysos returned the books into the spatial bag and decided to look at other stuff inside it. He saw a map and took it out.

The map was made of an extremely rare plant and the paper was very fine as well. This map was for all of the 20 continents of the human territory. Starting from the top left, it was the continent of Awasia Iteguri. It is surrounded by oceans in the northern area but it has a lot of neighboring continents in the southern area. Awasia Iteguri's king's country is in the middle of many countries, making it a very protected area.

Separating Awasia Iteguri is a large body of water and a small border of islands connecting them to the leftmost continent called Fargisian Aavale, it is on a large piece of land too big for them to occupy, so that's why another continent managed to snag the southern area of the land and created a border between Fargisan Aavale and that continent. Fargisan Aavale's king's country is in the northern area of the continent. The king doesn't fear that his country isn't in the middle of his countries because Awasia Iteguri acts as a shield for them anyways.

The continent who snagged the remaining land of Fargisan Aavale is named Sembriose Continent. The king of Sembriose is a very wise king and separated it's countries in a wall like structure that surrounds the king's country. Making it a very defensive and nigh impenetrable continent. In the western area of the Sembriose continent is a stray island that they loosely occupy.

Below the Sembriose Continent is the continent of Hakrial Anebrik.

Hakrial Anebrik is a continent which faces the southern oceans just like the Awasia Iteguri continent. The king's country is located in the northern area to shield itself from any incoming attack.

Above Hakrial Anebrik is the one of the safest continents in the western portion of the human continents called Thermia Iscondius. Thermia Incondius is surrounded by five continents and it is also extremely rich in natural resources. The king's country is in the middle and because of the continent's recent war with its neighboring countries, the countries aren't united that well.

Above Thermia Incondius is the largest continent in the western area of the human spirit continents. It is called Ablizas Neouvis. It's a very strong continent but it is very neutral and prefers to trade instead of fighting neighboring continents.

The eastern area of Ablizas Neouvis is the continent of Lashis Siriqo. It is probably the most separated continent compared to the others. If the landmass of the other continents are firm and intact, Lashis Siriqo's landmass can only be described as destroyed making their territory very hard to travel to.

Below Lashis Siriqo is the twin continents of Crescentum. It is a crescent shaped continent that had to be split up hence the names Upper Crescentum and Lower Crescentum. Even though they are practically considered as very close allies, they are still two separate continents.

Finally, the continent that is the furthest from the cluster of landmass in the western area of the human spirit continents is the Lieshir continent who is surrounded by a lot of oceans in the eastern oceans. Lieshir is shaped like a human fist and the continent excels in water and air based travel like boats and airships made possible by Divinium.

And that concludes the western area of the human continents. The eastern area meanwhile…

It's quite a handful to say the least.

The bottom left area of the eastern portion of the human continents is the Atricus Zamis continent. Since the eastern region's oceans are much more ferocious than the eastern region's, Atricus Zamis is a bunch of islands in the same cluster.

Next to it is the Qotial Odheilm. They occupied a lot of islands and eventually made their own continent after a lot of years had passed. The king's country is well defended and during war times, Qotial Odheilm will always be the first to attack because of how much Divinium related resources they have secured.

Above Qotial Odheilm is Supremia Aliqierta. That's right, this is where Chrysos is located right now. Supremia Aliqierta is known for rich resources mainly being ores and rare metals. Supremia Aliqierta also has a lot of forests with a lot of Divinium materials both helpful for forging and potion brewing. That's why this place is the best for Alchemists and Blacksmiths to develop.

Above Supremia Aliqierta is the continent of Yeuwiro Elematius. This continent has a lot of fierce animals that forced its inhabitants to fight back against them which made them battle hardened to the point that fighting is considered as a sport to them. Not only that, the ferocious Divinium evolved its creatures in a way that even the plants cannot be trusted.

To the east of Yeuwiro Elematius is the continent of Parcisen Evertell. Parcisen Evertell is extremely rich in Divinium crystals and Divinium energy in the air. Because of this, magical classes blossomed in this continent, making them the most powerful continent in terms of magic and research on Divinium and its properties.

At the southern area of the eastern region of the human spirit continents just below Parcisen Evertell is the continent of Inblarie Ficicias. Inblarie Ficicias is a continent with abundant homes of wild animals and beasts. However, unlike Yeuwiro Elematius, the people of Inblarie Ficicias focused on taming them instead of fighting them. And after hundreds of years, they are the most proficient in terms of beast taming, trapmaking, and cuisine.

Next to Inblarie Ficicas is the eastern continent of Iltano Gestam. Iltano Gestam is a continent who focused their efforts to perfect weaponry and martial arts to the point that most of their population are fighters, berserkers, warriors, barbarians, swordsmen and knights and other melee classes except assassins because they are often viewed as cowardly.

Above Iltano Gestam is the continent of Greenforest. The Greenforest continent is part of a huge landmass shared by three continents. Greenforest happens to occupy the largest out of the three though. Anyways, Greenforest has the largest forests in all of the human continents and because of this, they practiced stealth based classes more often than the others. They are also great at archery and their population who picked a ranged class is around 20%

The other continent is called Sifusil Auridien. Since it's just north of Greenforest, the ecosystem is almost the same except for the unpredictable Divinium in the area that are sometimes weak and sometimes strong. Sifusil Auridien is very religious and they heavily despise corrupted ones and the moment one is spotted, it's an instant kill.

Finally, the upper rightmost continent, The Continent of Aphydsul. The Continent of Aphydsul is a very powerful continent despite it being one of the furthest continents to other landmasses. They are very solitary and barely contact other continents unless it is important.

Chrysos put the map back into the spatial bag and exhaled uncontrollably. "My goodness… this world is bigger than what I initially thought." Chrysos felt very insignificant before the world or in particular, he felt so small before the Divine Lands.

Chrysos sighed and decided to buy more magic spells from Alzoria Academy.

"Meiros, wanna go learn some magic?" Chrysos called out.

Meiros peeked his head from the corner of the door and said, "Sure, I'm fine with that." Meiros cleaned up after his food and then, he went to his stuff and put on a robe and changed his clothes.

Chrysos opened the door and before Meiros left the house, he reminded Meiros, "Don't forget your Divinium Cloak."

"Master, how could I forget something so simple?" Meiros laughed and locked the door behind him.

Meiros and Chrysos walked for a while until a huge castle which is the Alzoria Academy finally came into view. Meiros was quite surprised that this academy was this huge.

Chrysos noticed his gaze and asked, "What? You want to enroll there?"

Meiros waved his hand at Chrysos. "C'mon master, there's no way I'd be able to compete against those kids who are definitely smarter than me. Won't that be asking for trouble? Plus, I'm learning quite a lot from you alone so, I'm quite satisfied with that. "

Chrysos shook his head. "Meiros, I can't teach you everything. I'm sure you know that." Chrysos patted his shoulder.

"Even if I want to enroll, won't we be moving to Iqualius city? Isn't that why you aren't investing as much in our house as you used to?" Meiros reminded Chrysos.

Slapping his forehead, Chrysos said with a chuckle, "Right… how could I forget about that." Chrysos thought for a while and snapped his fingers. "Wait, if I remember correctly… There's also a pretty good academy in Iqualius city. I also heard that it's as good as Alzoria Academy."

"Then that's great!" Meiros rubbed his hands together. "I'll finally get to learn more stuff."

"Weren't you saying that you were satisfied with my teachings earlier?" Chrysos raised an eyebrow.

Meiros froze for a bit and said, "I mean… yes but I also… uhm."

Chrysos wrapped his arm around Meiros' neck and rubbed his fist against his head. "You cheeky little fella."

Meiros broke free from Chrysos' arm and saw that his hair was now all messed up. Meiros laughed at this and was about to keep talking with Chrysos when a man approached the two of them.

"Wait up!"
