Chapter 3

-Super Short Story, Start!-

I thought we will go back to those days where we were always happy and just do the things we did before. But, I don't think a past situation can be returned.

My step-mother, Gheand Fraence, was a lovely, nice, and a thoughtful person. Or so I thought.

I locked myself in my room after that incident (Stealing the jewelry). Days passed by, my sister, Traiss was found dead at the stairs. All of us were speechless because of what happened, and due to the fact that my sister died on her birthday.

All the people in our mansion at that time was being interogated, with exception to no one. The maids, drivers, cooks, and us. Me, mom, dad, and my brother.

They said that it might be a m*rder, but they don't have enough evidence for the case to be concluded as a m*rder case. And the possible k*iller was unknown.

I thought there would be no such things would happen again, but.

Days, months, years have passed again, another unacceptable incident happened, my step-brother, Cledan Fraence, died. Our kitchen maid saw his blooded body lying in the table while holding a candle. Mother and Father, can't accept it.

"No!!! my son! Cled!" Mother shouted

"Cledan! Who did this to you, son?! That person should go to the jail!" Father shouted as well

I looked at my mom and dad who were both crying.

"What the heck is happening in our family?" I said with a confused look

I heard a foot step that was walking towards me, so I looked at that person.

"Khill, my daughter..." My mom, Gheand, said with a soft tone

She looked at me with a confused and scared expression.

"Khill" Rhac Fraence, my father, he called me as well

Both of them looked at me and asked me the same question at the same time.

"Were you smiling earlier?" My eyes got bigger after they asked, I was shocked!

Damn... Did I smile? Does my expression is different from what I thought of? What the heck!
