Chapter 19 Vera Is Back

"I'll call and ask."

Haward hung up the phone directly and dialed Sean Luther. His family was a big client of the bank and had dinner with Sean once, so he had Sean's phone number.

"Mr. Black, may I help you?" Sean asked with a smile.

"Mr. Luther, are you mistaken? Vera's gold card is full of dragons on the back, and there is no signature of the cardholder. It is obviously a forgery. How can you give her a loan?" Haward asked the question he was wondering.

Sean smiled. "That one is the only special case among all the gold cards and is also the most precious one. Many times more valuable than your father's one."

"What!" Haward was stunned and hurriedly asked, "Who is the cardholder?"

"You're not qualified to know." Sean said, "If you don't have any other questions, I need to hang up."
