The King Of Darkness

"My child, I am only a mere name with some intelligence. The darkness that I'm speaking of is the power that can destroy or devastate the world. You will be the king of such power, all the beasts that emerge from dark will be your subordinates and your powers will have no limit when you become the king!"

Jay was baffled at the darkness's words. He was being told an amazing truth that he was anawqre till now.

"Wait... is this what the Black dragon was talking about? My power which is hidden but I haven't used even an ounce of it?" Is what Jay thought.

"Yes child, that's what AKALUMAN was talking about."

"Then, can you tell me how to get that power?"

Jay was excited. He was thinking that if he were to gain such an outstanding power, he would surely be one of the strongest hunter.

"My child, your body has been reformed thanks to AKALUMAN'S power, hence it can hold the power whenever it wants, however you need to pass a trial."

"A... trial?", Jay was curious about the so called trial that the voice was speaking of.

"Yes my child. It's very simple, you need to learn all the knowledge and skill befitting of a true king in this void. Everything will be provided to you, the only thing you need to do is learn all of them without forgetting anything."

Jay paused for a second. His heart was pounding 3 times faster than usual since the trial that the DARKNESS mentioned was just a piece of cake for him.

He was at ease since he had his system with the help of which he can copy all the knowledge and send it to his brain, at least that's what he thought.

However, the system didn't have such feature. All it could do was scan and show the details but never transmit the details to his brain directly.

"Damn... what will I do now? How will I manage to read all these books?"

I'm front of him there were more than ten thousands of books with the topics of past and all history, topography and many skills.

"Tsk, it will take years to memorise these all!!!"

He shook his head with displeasure.

"I... I can't..."

Then the voice suddenly uttered, "Never forget what AKALUMAN has told you..."

He had almost given up when he suddenly told to remember what the Black dragon had told.

He was told to never forget what his true self is no matter what power he gains.

"True self... my original self? It's nothing special... the only thing good about it is... my IQ?"

Suddenly he realised how foolish he was.

"Haha, I get it. My true self never gave up and here I am giving up so easily. It seems that I was relying too much in the system..."

Suddenly his spirit rose and he stood on his legs.

"Let's do this."

He immediately went and picked one book and started to read through it and memorise them. He didn't want to be defeated after coming this far.

He was finishing each book quite fast and perfectly memorising each and everything.

And while it was being done suddenly another mission appeared.
