As I walked behind Zach and he led me to his car my jaw fell open like he doesn't even stay here.

So two questions posed in my mind he came to office in a LandRover and the beauty infant of me surely wasn't that so why did he have two cars in a place he hardly visited and second why were they so fucking expensive?

"Umm, you like it?" He said pointing towards the priceless specimen in front of me

"You think I am the perfect person to judge a Rolls Royce Sweptail? It's awesome", I said with glittering eyes.

"Well you know cars", he said opening the doors

"Ya kind of Zander has a nice collection", I replied entering

"I have seen his you will like mine better", he said smirking

"Well I can already guess that looking at the cars you have here"

"Ya I like to keep a few at places I have my branches"

"So what are your favourite cars? How many do you know?"

"Patience Amy, you can have a look at them all once you agree to visit my place"

"I can agree today but I got work and as you informed earlier college as well", I said pouting

"Well work might not be a constrain as for college start it and then we will see, for now till you adjust to your schedule no moving around"

"Ok sir," I said mocking his firm tone

And then the rest of the ride continued in silence and some minute jokes as we reached the only Baskin Robins outlet in Iwar. Doubt even if it is in Iwar it might as well be on borders like War hardly had anything except for ravishing beaches.

"Which flavour?"

"Umm..", I said looking towards the long array of decorated flavours. It had been years me visiting any ice cream parlour.

"I will go with Mississippi Mud regular", I said finally deciding what to have

"One regular Mississippi Mud for the lady and one small butterscotch ribbon for me", Zach said paying the cashier

"Hey hey my treat", I interrupted

H slowly came closer to my ear, my cheeks flushed red, I wasn't a fan of PDA, "Ma'am let me pay her, next home-delivery you pay. Else people might think that I lack manners", he whispered in a husky tone

"Hm hm", I murmured trying to get back my composure.

"I will go grab a seat", I mumbled out

"Ok love", he said with a winning smirk

I sat at a table for two at the corner of the store and started scrolling through my mail. Not that there was something important but I needed to shift my concentration from what happened to prevent further flushing of my already red cheeks.

And as I was scrolling Ding.

A mail arrived from the State University confirming my bachelor's in management course and had an attachment of the schedule. I made a mental note to print it out when I go to the office on Monday.

"Regular Mississippi Mud with chocolate sauce and choco chips", my stream of thoughts and the mental note-taking session was broken by Zach's voice

"Thank you for the add-ons. ", I said smiling at him

Chocolate indeed made everything right.

"You look cute when you blush", he commented having his ice-cream and trust me the comment just made my face turn more crimson than it already was but just then I realised the trick as I saw his spoon approaching my mug.

I quickly raised it up, " Not happening Mister! Enjoy your own", I said narrowing my eyes as I took a bite.

The ice-cream date and the car journey back went in a similar way with both of us teasing each other and soon we were back home.

"I will go change and come back", I said as Zach settled himself on the couch with his laptop.

"Hm hm. I will also go through my mails still then", he said without looking up and I made my way towards the washroom.

I wore my pyjamas and walked out.

Zach looked up from the screen, " You look beautiful", he said with his green eyes fixed on my figure.

I blushed at his comment and made my way to the kitchen, "Coffee?" I asked reaching the counter.

"I will make", he said placing his laptop on the table in front of him and standing up

"What do I do?", I asked as he reached

"Go pick that up and check your schedule", he smirked pointing at his laptop

I smiled in agreement, the thought of getting a degree made me happy.The schedule went from the top of my head and the subjects seemed familiar but I wasn't very careful.I realised it had been two years since I graduated from high school, this is going to difficult I though as I checked through the course and syllabus.

The thought made me flinch.

"Everything ok? Do you want a change in subjects or schedule or something"

I looked up at him with a puppy face and a small frown, " What's wrong Amy?", he asked placing the coffee mugs on the table and sitting beside me.

"I don't know if I can do it. I feel excited but I am scared. I haven't touched books for the last two years and.. and I don't understand most of the things written here", I said with teary eyes pointing at the screen.

"Well I can help with that", he said pacing the coffee mug and turned the screen towards him and started explaining how things work, the curriculum, and how I am supposed to study.

By the time he finished the coffees were over and we realised we skipped lunch and it was almost 5 in the evening.

"Let's go out for dinner", he offered

"Nope, we had pizza yesterday and I have food outside every other day. So I will cook dinner and have it home and the same applies to you."

As I cooked chicken steak for dinner, Zach made some mashed potatoes and tossed some beans and made the sauce. We sat on the couch with his laptop in front and randomly watched some YouTube videos as we had our dinner.

After that Zach went and changed into another Zander's t-shirt and sweatpants as I did the dishes.

"I will sleep on the couch and if you need me just call", he said sitting on the couch

"You can take up a side of the bed, it's big enough to fit two people", I said not looking up from the dishes I knew I was redder than a tomato.

"Uh ok, I will finish some work and come over", he said taking looking into his laptop

I walked over to my room, got a novel, and went and sat beside him reading as he worked.

I never liked abandoning people

Zach:

I sat with my laptop working out a few things when Amber came and made her space beside me. She didn't even have a hint of how much tases little things she did make me happy.By the time I finished my work I found her calmly sleeping with her head on my shoulder and the book on her face.

I slowly got up and supported her head with one of my hands trying not to wake her up and then used my other hand to remove the book from her face. Her face looked pretty with a few strands of her hair over it. I picked her up in the bridal style and took her to the bedroom. I tucked her as I made my way to the washroom. Coming back I saw she had flipped in her sleep and taken up the middle of the bed.

I couldn't help but sleep next to her with our bodies in contact and soon sleep took over.In the morning I was woken up by Ash's call informing me about a sudden charity event in the afternoon and about some other upcoming deals and pack business. No matter how disheartened I was but I had to make my way up from my mate's side and I freshened up and changed into my clothes and was ready to leave.

I realised Amber was fast asleep and I didn't want to wake her up, therefore I went to her and quietly placed a kiss on her forehead as she smiled away in her sleep, and then after leaving a note about my departure I left.
