The 7th Great God (Overlord Fan Fiction)

Tetsujin Yosei, was a player going by the name of Night Silver in the popular game of Yggdrasil. Making it a point to enjoy the things the real world no longer had, nature, he played as a druid, more specifically a Solo-player Immortal Dark Elf, woman. During the game he quickly rose to popularity for several reasons and was well known to those who kept up with the happenings of solo-players. He had unlocked the fullest potential of the druidic line. Causing others to search for improvements within their own builds. On the very last day the game's servers were online, he spent it enjoying the natural looking environment attempting to spend every last moment with it before being forcibly logged out. But... He suddenly found himself in another world. A world filled with nature, but also ruled by mighty creatures, True Dragon Lords. Joining him were 6 other players, their NPC's and guild base. Together they work to build a nation for the people of this new world to live in. And follow Night Silver's story as she explores the unknown timeline of Overlord's vague history. Times of strife, and times of peace. Night Silver builds a world she can enjoy. And how she changes the story overall. NOTE: I do not own Overlord. This work is purely a fan made series. The Winged-Humans (21) After The Rumbling (6)

Brightness, having been rather excited from the praise he got, as well as excited from the flirting they had just done… He stepped up instantly and offered his back to Night Silver. "Sil, my love, though we can ride the way we wish for now. Won't you allow me to carry you there like this in place of the other matter?" He asked.

"Pfft… Hahaha!" Night Silver laughed, crossing her arms over herself to hold her sides in from falling out. "While it is definitely not a replacement for that ride, I suppose carrying me through the clouds will have to do for now." She managed to eek out her words as she wiped a tear out of the way.

Night Silver jumped up and landed on Brightness' back. She noticed instantly how sturdy the body of a dragon lord was… At least when she wasn't in active slaughter mode. Hmm, it's oddly warm and it's filling me with an expectant feeling… The future is bound to hold something good.

"Are we coming too?" Moigit asked, now suddenly worried.

"If we are, we need to tell you about what our mission from mother truly was…" Frayrsis mentioned.

Night silver looked at the two of these young dragons who were smart enough to understand they would suffer if not for their submission to her will. Her eyes narrowed for a moment and then sighed after the pair of dragons gulped. "Very well, tell me the details." She said with a look of annoyance.

"Well, Mother had sent us out to go and try sowing seeds among that nation of people you and your friends had created. We were successful in arriving there. And we did succeed in our mission." Moigit explained, timidly. And then utterly terrified once the deathly aura from the fight returned.

"Sister, please wait. While we were successful in spreading seeds of distrust. The other gods there didn't fall for it. And they seemed to be working on correcting the bad information as we left." Frayrsis quickly added, hoping to ease the anger even a little bit.

"AND!" Night Silver shouted, causing the air to tremble. Hold on a minute… These two dopes wouldn't be able to convince anyone of anything. Even the dumbest of rocks don't listen to them. So then… I see. "You didn't do it on your own. It was that bitch who used you as a bridge. Just so she could stay in hiding. Scared I might appear and beat her senseless. In that case, I can't let you come with me, nor see any of my people at all. Not until I break that bridge with your shitty mother." She grumbled, annoyed beyond measure.

There was a silence as everyone wondered what the next move was, or even should be. It was a rather difficult predicament. Even Brightness was in a position to have to worry about the situation as well, right?

"Everything could be solved if those two became True Dragon Lords. After all, once we've reached that point any dependency is entirely unneeded. And one gains the right to act on their own whims." Brightness added, revealing a bit of information. Though it wasn't something Night Silver was happy to hear.

"So… Our children will be in a similar state until they reach a comparable level? That's not great news to me. But at least it's helpful to know for now." Night Silver murmured. That really isn't the best news but, it's better than nothing. "I wonder then, is it a racial trait of your species?" She asked.

"I suppose it would be… At least, I think it acts similar to our pride." Brightness answered.

Another moment passed with Night Silver in deep thought. Afterwards she looked at the two seemingly helpless dragons. Both Moigit and Frayrsis were trembling with several different emotions. Honestly if they can feel this many emotions, love shouldn't be that hard to understand. I guess… I should help them? But that is not a cheap spell even if I cast it, that dragon needs to never know of it…

"Do you want me to help you break that bond you have, early?" Night Silver asked, receiving rapid nods in the affirmative from two panicking dragons. "Ugh, fine. I don't want that mother dragon of yours to have any way of seeing this ability. So, even though you've already broken the link yourself, Brighty my love… I'll cast it on you as well just to be absolutely certain that it can't go anywhere." She explained, with a sigh.

"I see. Then we will follow your instructions." Brightness replied, knowing it was best to just follow along for the moment.

After a short shuffle, Moigit and Frayrsis were standing next to each other with Brightness standing a little back from the center between the two younger ones. In this arrangement Night Silver could begin her spells without any issues of others snooping in by any means.

First, Night Silver cast a mass silencing spell on the area. This was meant to block the sound of her voice from reaching anyone else. She quickly followed these up with the other spells that blocked all senses, up to and including magic senses. The three dragons were completely and totally in the dark about what was happening to them.

At the same time events were unfolding elsewhere, the Great Mother Dragon suddenly went into a panicking stir. She was saying things aloud. Or at least she thought she was. WHAT IS THAT BITCH DOING! HOW?! I CAN'T EVEN DISCONNECT MY SENSES FROM MY BABIES! Suddenly, the panicked stomping around stopped and other dragons were calling out to the Great Mother. And some began opting to use their Wild Magic to try and figure out what happened.

Night Silver removed her sensory disabling spells and nearly slid off of Brightness' back. Brightness leaned in a way to have Night Silver lay down comfortably without falling off.

"There… You three should be completely free of her control and influence. Though it took far more out of me than I expected. Almost like I had a fourth, more powerful target. Please wait a moment before we take off. You'll want to get feeling back in your bodies before flying anyway." Night Silver murmured, breathing slightly raspy.

Brightness turned his head around enough to nudge against Night Silver gently, showing his concern for her.
