Chp-62 The Walpurgis Begins.

"Long ago, founding Demon Lords, that's me, Guy and Milim used to meet up once in a while, to talk over some tea. As time went on more and more Demon Lords joined in and now the world calls it a Walpurgis. Essentially it's a Tea Party really." Ramiris said.

"I once read in an Old book that A Walpurgis was held when the demon lords declared war on someone?" Ellis asked.

"What? Why would I do that? I don't have that much free time you know?" Ramiris spoke in confusion as Rimuru thought to himself what this fly was Busy with.

"Then, what does the destruction of Tempest have to do with your Tea Party?"

"It's not the meeting itself but the topic. "A new Force has been born in Jura Forest " is the topic which has been put forward by Clayman. You declared yourself a Demon Lord right? You should know that To become one, you need to gain approval from the Demon Lord Council. And you declaring yourself one, can be seen as an act of Arrogance which will lead to the Destruction of Tempest!!!" Ramiris exclaimed as she raised her hands high.

"Eehhh..then how do I gain their approval?" Rimuru asked not that surprised.

"Well you could defeat an already established demon Lord or gain a majority vote from us. The last one is by being nominated as a Demon Lord." Ramiris explained.

"Then, Can you nominate me?" Rimuru asked.

"No. I am the Queen of Fairies and the according to the world, I had become a member of the Demon Lord Council to keep them in check. Nominating you as one would be counterintuitive. " Ramiris sadly explained.

"I could nominate you. " Bael suddenly spoke.

"Can you?!" Rimuru quickly turned around as he saw Bael calmly sipping the tea Shuna prepared for him.

"Yes. But I won't." Bael calmly said.

"Great!! Then that problem is solved -wait.." Rimuru in a fit of excitement didn't completely understand Bael's words but after a reminder from Raphael he stopped.

"I won't nominate you, You should show your strength to them so that they get the message that You are strong enough to deal with whatever they will through at you. If I nominated you then They will think You are hiding behind my Power." Bael explained.

"That makes sense... Alright. Then it is decided, I will go to Walpurgis. Let's see what Clayman has in store for us"

With that the fate of Tempest was now in Rimuru's hands. After that, the Sorcerer's Dynasty formed an alliance treaty with Tempest and Tempest gained itself another ally.

After that meeting, Bael left as he came, suddenly.

Next day, Rimuru got dressed up by Shuna as he prepared to go to Walpurgis.

"Annd, there. You look good Rimuru Sama." Shuna said after fixing His Collar.

"Is that so? It's all thanks to your help afterall." Rimuru complemented. As they were finishing up, a Gate materialized in the room, opening up to reveal a swirling mass of Magicules. A maid in Blue hair exited the gate and greeted Rimuru.

"Greetings, Ruler of the Forest Rimuru Sama. I am Rain, one of the maids serving Lord Guy Crimson. I have come to take you to the Walpurgis Venue. You are allowed to choose two of your subordinates to come with you." Rain spoke in a stoic voice.

After selecting Ranga and Shion, Rimuru and Rain entered the Gate.

Rimuru Pov.

As I exited the gate, what lay before me was a large round table that was made of a very rare and strong metal as explained by Raphael sensei. The Table was surrounded by chairs and right opposite to my position a being with rad hair sat, looking at me as if seeing something very amusing.

His smirk kind of irked me, and if not for his great Magicules getting released, I mighthave confronted him on that.

[That is Guy Crimson, one of the oldest Demon Lords in existence. ]

'I can guess, his aura is something a weak Demon Lord would never have.'

Sitting towards his left side was Bael who was also looking at me, his smile though as If it was of a friend's reassuring one that everything will be fine. And I hope so...

Now that I look at it, his aura is almost equal to Guy's.... doesn't that mean he's also very strong?

[Correction, Bael is using a fraction of his Magicules. His true capacity is unknown.]

'Shit...'

As I sat on the chair before me, we stayed in silence for a while. Well for me that is, Bael and Guy were chatting as if they were best of friends. While I was here observing the room.

The walls were practically non-existent, replaced by a void like appearance, the ceiling too had the similar effect but it was circulating with stars visible on it. The whole ceiling was held by pillars on all sides.

Behind Bael, there was two figures that I didn't recognise. One was a beautiful Lady with a..well endowed chest as well as body. She had a small horn poking out of her head just like that of a Goat but, more shiny?

Her eyes were emerald green and she had an elegant smile on her face. Right beside her on Bael's Right was a Young Girl. She had two braids on her hair, which was an Earthy brown colour mixed with Green. She held a staff that looked more like that of a Tree branch.

Her entire demeanor seemed to say that she was very jovial and a happy person, as noticed by her Cheerful smile. All these features didn't hide the fact that both were strong, crazy strong. Even all of Tempest including myself would struggle against any of them, by the amount of Magicules they had.

[The older one is Medusa, Bael's wife and his Religion's High Priestess. She is also the Prime Minister of his Empire.

The Younger one is Gaia, the Minister of Life, she has control over all plant life in Deudenia, the Continent where you and Bael met.]

'That's....I won't even try to comment on it.'

I sighed inside my head as I thought of the incredible power these guys had, especially Gaia, I sensed how large that continent was and if she could control all plant life on it, it's an incredible thing for anyone to escape alive from there.

Not to mention Medusa, She's Bael's wife so obviously she should be also very strong.

Speaking of, all these names are from the Greek mythology, does he have a bias for them?

As my mind wandered to pointless musings, more and more people arrived. Untill only three seats were left. Finally, the 'hero' ofthe show arrived.

Clayman, Milim and Frey arrived, as I saw Milim, she looked...dull? As if she were a robot acting on someone's command.

As I thought what could have happened to her, Clayman raised his hand to slap but his hands abruptly stopped mid-air, looking towards who was the cause of it I sighed in relief. Bael had released a slight jolt of Magicules towards Clayman that restrained him.

"I wouldn't do that If I were you, Puppet."

Bael said in an unsettling way.

His words seem to anger Clayman even more but luckily he refrained from doing anything and droped his hands. He glanced at Guy for any reaction but unfortunately for him, Guy was sipping his tea.

Clayman soon reached his seat and thus began the Walpurgis.
