Chp-43 Preparation for the Start.

Medusa's Pov.

Walking in the hallway of Deudenia I couldn't help but think if all the things that had occurred last 210 years.

The most notably was that I had my first sex with Lord Bael a long time ago. And after that for uncountable number of times.

Adrigal and Isabella had found out about it after a few months. And they were very jealous.

Something which I always teased them about. It brings great joy that I was the one to have sex with Lord Bael first. This just goes on to show that Lord Bael loves me more.

Even though he rarely shows it, but whenever he does, It is the most euphoric Feeling ever.

The strange thing is that , even after all these, I was unable to conceive any child inside myself. Lord Bael had said that it was probably because by default Me and Lord Bael were incompatible by races. This means that since I am a Gorgon, a sub-species of Dragons while Lord Bael is the specie's highest hierarchial Dragon, my body seemed to always get overriden by Lord Bael's Strong Dragonic Factor, that in result prevented any possibility of me bearing a child.

But there was a solution. Lord Bael mentioned that due to the constant presence of him on me along with the sex we had, my body was slowly getting used to his Dragon Factor. It would take atleast 500 more years for me to bear his child. Which I am quite sad about. If Adrigal were to have sex with Lord Bael which they have yet to, then she, as a Dragon herself could bear a child much easily.

"*Sigh* Just when I thought everything was going so well." I sighed out in resignation.

Soon, I reached a room where is Guardians were holding our Annual meetings. It was currently The end of the 210th year of Orion's Beginning. Each year we would hold a meeting with all the Guardians to discuss the overall progress of our plans.

We did have meetings each year but it was just a run through of what was to be expected and what new things came up, such meetings were not necessarily attended by all Guardians because they may be busy fulfilling their tasks given by Lord Bael. Such meetings were mainly there for Me, Darkseid Adrigal and Isabella to discuss our plans.

Entering the room, I saw everyone present on a round table with an empty seat, on which I swiftly sat. Thus beginning our annual meetings.

"So, let's first start with the reports. Darkseid." I began.

"Project Divinity, is going along quite well. After Lord Bael sealed Veldora, a lot of humans and mostly intelligent monsters have started to see him as a Divine being. And with the Propaganda that Isabella spread, we have been able to gather a large amount of followers worshipping the Supreme One.

Although a slight problem might arise if we were to have significant numbers of humanz worshipping the Supreme One. Which is the Holy Kingdom. Demon Lord Luminous might not take kindly with us taking her monopoly." Darkseid said.

"We won't need to worry about that, Lord Bael mentioned he would take care of it. Let's leave this to the Supreme Ones' wisdom. Next, Yama."

"The army training is going along smoothly as well. I have to say, humans without any external help are very fragile. In our army they are the weakest. But regardless, each human soldier are give equipments and taught magic to elevate their levels to B+ ranks. We also have some humans who are A and special A ranks, they have skills.

The list is here." Yama said as he handed the file.

I skimmed through the skills and found that non of them were Unique skills. So, I simply put is aside to read latter. For now, we were searching of humans with Unique Skills, or even Monsters but we're unable to. It seemed that such powers were very rare to find. But we did find monsters that even with having a Racial Skill were powerful enough to be Special A rank without any training and with training they reached almost S rank, but it seemed like a limit is reached. No matter what we tried, they won't be able to breakthrough the S rank.

"I see. How many?"

"3 Million, adding all the races together."

Yama said.

"With such a large army, we could already storm the Whole continent and take control of it in one Swift battle." Roku said.

"It is true that only our army could conquer the whole world but Lord Bael said that he wishes to give the world a chance. A chance to fight back when we truly launch a war. He wants to enjoy the fight. He wants to find joy in the battlefield. Currently, the world is too weak to be taken over."

That were the words of Lord Bael. He wishes to have a 'blast'. That were the exact words he said. Although I knew not what it meant but he said that it meant 'fun'. So I assume he is trying to stall the inevitable World Domination in hope of letting the world fight for its last chance of freedom which It will never get. What a domineering thought. Just thinking of his whims gives me shiver of ecstasy.

"So who are we to not heed his words? We exist to fulfill every wish of Lord Bael, the Supreme One. " I preached.

"Hail Lord Bael!"

Bael Pov.

"Ahhhhh~~" a groan left my mouth as soon as I felt the warm waters Touch my body and ease it.

'What a feeling. It is like all the non-existent soreness and exhaustion has faded away. Now I understand why japanese people love

Onsens so much. It is just too enjoyable.'

[Bael, You just turned of your pain nullification to enjoy this feeling...]

Just when I was immersed in my enjoyment, Gabriel had to destroy it. Oh, and after all these years I have managed to make her call me by my name.

'Obviously Gabriel, you know in my past life, I was just an average guy on some country which I can't even remember , we didn't have such luxuries you know? '

[I know. And it is pretty interesting that there is an ancient text that describes how the world will end when Earth becomes like your world.]

She mentioned, after thinking hard I remember a vague memory. Memories of my past two life is quickly fading away, I had long expected of such a thing happening and asked Gabriel to store all my memories in my Mindscape.

But I realised it too late and small memories like these have faded, and I remember only snippets of it.

'Earth 2138? I guess you are refering to the Indian Mythology? There indeed was a saying that when the world becomes too corrupted then God will take on an Avatar to end the world and start it anew. Although other mythologies like Norse had Ragnarok, the situation and conditions of Indian's are eerily too accurate.'

[Yes that one. There is a possibility that the Indian Gods are more incharge of Earth Itself and other Pantheons just have parts of it as their domain. For example Ragnarok was maybe the doom of another world, where the Earth was added to the legend.]

Gabriel is onto something, maybe....it could all be just us overthinking but there might be a possibility that all Pantheons really exist and they shared the domain of Earth between each other.

'Do you believe...that maybe the mythologies, those Gods were real?'

[There is a probablity. Look at yourself. If you re-entered Earth, those humans will see you as a God too.]

'I guess so.'

But why did they leave Earth? If they are real then I don't know any possibility of them leaving Earth. Does the universe Earth exist in have a concept like Fate? Like an Age of God then Age of Man. Then a new cycle begins.

It is indeed somewhat accurate by my memory. Maybe there is an even deeper reason to it? If I were ever able to travel multiverses then Maybe I should look into it?

It'd be a blast.

3rd Pov.

While Orion was enjoying their time of leisure, the world was on edge of their next move.

The kingdom, especially the western which were yet to be under Orion, were very wary of the Empire. They formed thoughts and beliefs that maybe the Orion Empire is just like the Empire in the East, ruthless and evil. They even thought that both empires were together.

But the constant news of the prosperity enjoyed by the people of Orion unsettled them. The kings didn't want to give up their power, and they refused to be under a Demon Lord. Still, it won't be long before they fall before the allure that Orion presented itself with.

The simple fact that even Commoners there enjoyed treatment similar to nobles was enough to entice the populace of any kingdom that didn't even have any money to put together 3 meals on the table. Just this was enough to put pressure on any kingdom.

And then the equipments, accessories, and many more goods sold by Orion were, Indigenous, Efficient and mostly cheap. The fruits, food and resources were fresh, of good quality and of acceptable price. This added an additional pressure on the economic integrity of any kingdom.

Nobles want to enjoy such luxury and to distance them from it would be akin to striking an axe in your foot. Because if the nobles were dissatisfied with your decisions they might have the courage to dethrone you and put a puppet king who listened to their needs.

And there were just too many enemies who would pounce on such opportunities to have a share of their pie.

The emergence of Orion has made the life's of foreign kings very hard. They all cursed every day at Orion while they had nightmares at night of getting choked to death by their Nobles just because Orion provided a free bonus on their Goods.

Life's hard for them.

Let's pray for them.

Pray that they too soon join Orion on their own so that they get relieved from such hardships. Amen.
