The most important thing in any prosperous civilization

What was the most important thing in any prosperous nation or civilization ?

It was a common question in my mind. Especially when I was planning to build a nation of monsters from scratch just so that I could live a luxurious life.

My main subject in my last life was not history. It was computer science. But I have the knowledge about the history of our previous world till the high school. After researching and debating with Ciel sensei for a long time, I finally reached a conclusion.

We found that three things were very important for our purple.

The first one is a proper goal, the second thing was loyalty of the subordinates and the third thing was resources.

In my case, I have the later two things in plenty. But I need at the most was a proper goal and a plan. And it isn't easy to make especially when I am just a new comer in this world.

But hard means it wasn't impossible.

I needed loyalty. And I got that easily with the goblins and the wolves. With the goblins, I was the saviour. And with the dire wolves, I got their loyalty because of my strength and dominance.

Looking at the newly named and evolved monsters before me, I was impressed. Veldora was worried about me naming all these monsters. But I did it for two reasons. First, Naming ensures loyalty of the monster.

And second, without names, it will be annoying to communicate in general.

Now, It was finally time for me to create some basic rules for them.

I looked at the pedestal and throne they have tried to put together.

Although the work of the Goblins, did not look good, it was sturdy enough to hold my weight.

They even have created a bench for Veldora to sit beside me.

Every named monster was present before the pedestal. They looked excited.

/Ciel sensei, can you make me look friendly and commanding at the same time ?

//Affirmative.

I felt Ciel taking control of my facial expressions as I gave in my control.

Going elegantly to the pedestal I gracefully sat on their make shift throne.

It was very important how you represent yourself. Even if it means representing myself infront of a group of monsters.

"All of you have given your loyalty to me. So I am expecting all of you to follow my orders to the letter.

Now, Raiga, you be will no longer the alfa of your tribe. You have already given up on your life. So I appoint Ranga as the new leader of the dire wolves." With those words, Raiga bowed. He has no objections.

"As per the goblins, Rigurd, you will be the goblin lord.

Goburo and Gaburo will be the leader of the hunting parties. And Gobuta will be the leader of the scounting party." All of them bowed their head.

"I will divide the work later but remember that all of you will be living with each other, working with each other. So I am going to set some rules.

Rule no 1, No infightings. In case of quarrels and disagreements, you are not allowed to fight with each other. You must solve your quarrels with words. A system will be put in the future which will take care of other's quarrels.

Rule no 2, Don't look down or bully the other races. I don't want you to get ahead of yourself just because you gained a little strength.

Rule number 3, don't attack humans. Atleast not until they attack you first. And try not to kill them if possible.

If you have any doubts about my rules, then feel free to ask." I set my rules.

The first and the second rule were simple. First I didn't want any internal struggle in my countries. And being cocky has never end well for many great powers in the history.

As per the third rule, my motives behind it, was simple. Humans will be important for my future goal. Even if I am not expecting the entire human race to support the existence of my kingdom, but I need at least a few allies so that others will hold back attacking just because we are monsters.

After I explained them about my rules, a few voices of confusion started to rise. But I cleared them with the most reasonable explanation possible.

The meeting continued and other matters were discussed. I divided them into pairs and devided their works temporarily.

For the infrastructure, goblins and direwolves won't be enough.

I needed skilled craftsmen, who can properly build the kingdom according to my design.

So after inquiring a bit, I understood that I have to go to the dwarven kingdom, Dwargon in order to contact skilled craftsmen.

Taking clustered magicrystals, from the sealed cave of Veldora, I was ready to go towards the kingdom of Dwargon.

I gave Veldora a tons of manga including a few forbidden once, in order to shut him up. He was still reluctant to stay in the village alone, and miss all the fun. But a hot kiss fixed the problem.

'The otaku dragon seems very vurnerable to seduction. I have to do something about it.'

//You are incorrect master. From my analysis, the individual Veldora is vulnerable to 'your' seduction. Not anyone else. So you shouldn't worry about it.

/Thanks Ciel. It's a relief.

After getting ready, we finally departed for the armed nation of the Dwargon.
