Kaijin the master Weapon smith

*Knock*knock*

"Big brother Kaijin ! Are you in there ?"

Kaido asked loudly.

I looked at the sign board of the weapons above the door of the establishment.

It was not a fancy shop from the outside compared to many other weapon shop we passed by. But looks can be deceiving. I can only decide after I look the guy myself.

If you moment after Kaido knocked, a dwarf wearing apron and holding a hammer came to open the door. He has the typical look of fantasy dwarf craftsman.

"Ah ! Kaido ! What brings you here at this moment ? If I am not wrong, then it should be the time for your duty as the chief of the guards." Kaido greeted his brother.

"Yes it is time full stop but I took a short temporary break , in order to bring this miss to your shop. She is it Dragonewt from the great Jura forest. She has came here to trade the Magsteels they have mined from the jura forest and searching for a skilled craftsman to help them building there village." Kaido introduced me.

"Really ! That's great ! I am in dire need of magisteels. I was just about to send the other three to the mines since I don't have much left." Kaijin then turned to me and welcomed me.

"Welcome miss. I am Kaijin. Please come inside."

After getting comfortable in his workshop Kaijin spoke again.

"Miss.... ?"

"Makima, Makima Tempest." I told him.

"Miss, Makima, before buying your magisteel, I would like to check it's quality first." Kaijin said politely.

"Of course."

With my mental command a black mist appeared in the middle of the room and a large cluster of magisteel appeared in the room.

Kaijin looked gobsmacked after seeing the cluster of magisteel.

"This-This...is the purest form of magiclustur. And quality is also very high !"

Kaijin needed the exact amount I gave him to complete his order of magic swords.

But due to the high quality of magisteel, he didn't have enough money to pay. He didn't want to deceive me. And I was also happy that I got an honest guy. So I decided to give it all for free in exchange of making him and his brother teach things to the Goblins back in the village. Kaijin agreed.

It took him two whole days, to make a single magic sword. It's quality was very high. According to Ciel, the sword was at least that of unique grade.

Kaijin then proceeded to tell me about his sob story. How a certain minister has a bone with him to pick, simply because Kaijin was better than him. And how his pride had led him to a situation like this where he has taken an order to build twenty magic long swords in a month, despite knowing that it is impossible.

But considering the time he took to build just one of them, I doubt he will be able to build them in given time.

On top of that I didn't want to wait for Kaijin to build all the 20 swords. It would have taken a lot of time. So I decided to help him away. It was easy copying his work and creating 20 more magic long swords using my skills.

The reaction of Kaijin and his brothers were really great.

Kaijin immediately took the sword and went to submit it in the royal castle.

"Miss Makima, please allow us to thank you with a small celebration !" Kaijin asked me to join them in a bar for a small celebration. And the speciality of that bar was that all of it's workers were elves.

I always wanted to see how sensitive an elf's ears were.

I am not gay. But it's just my curiosity. And why should I miss a free party ?

Thinking about these things, I agreed to join the party.

The quality of sake was medicore. I could make better drinks just using my skills. But it is still better than nothing.

While I was enjoying the taste of different types of drinks this world has to offer, one of the elves offered me to tell my fortune. Or at least that's what I thought.

"My fated one ?" I was really surprised when she showed me the human form of Veldora.

'Well, it seems like I made the right choice. But I was shocked when another person appeared on her magic orb.

It was a masked woman. At first I didn't understand because I am straight. And going for a woman seems....not so much like me.

But then Ciel sensei informed me about the working mechanism of that magic orb.

It is the mixture of probability prediction and future prediction. The orb was a border line ultimate grade magic tool.

But while everything was going fine, trouble found it's way towards us.

It was none other than the minister, Kaijin was talking about.

Henrietta, the chief of the spys under the direct command of Hero king Gazel Dwargo, was zooming through the reports of her subordinates.

It was a daily work for her. Nothing out of the place. But one of the reports regarding a small commotion outside the entrance, drew her attaintion.

A normal person wouldn't doubt a thing about the incident. But someone experienced like Henrietta found something odd.

First of all, the race of the person mentioned was dragonewt. But the appearance of the person was described as complete human. While natural born dragonewts have normal human appearance, it was unusual for a dragonewt from the great forest of Jura, to have a human appearance. She was well aware about the evolution path of the lizardmen who can eventually evolve into dragonewts. But it was extremely rare to happen.

On top of that a named monster from the jura forest alerted Henrietta.

So she decided to report it to the king and went to check herself.
