Queen's Bar.
June 16th, the year 2018. Saturday.
She kissed Tristan suddenly. Tristan widened his eyes as he felt Margo's lips moving at its own accord. His conscience was trying to command him to push her away, but Tristan was falling into the trap. Margo moved her lips aggressively. She paved her hands from the counter up to the nape of Tristan's neck. Tristan coiled his hands-on Margo's waist as they kissed each other passionately.
When they felt they were out of breath, Margo was the one who broke the kiss. She leaned her forehead into Tristan's as she smiled. Tristan closed his eyes, swallowed, and came back into reality when he opened his eyes.
He's astonished to hear someone shouting at the door.
He darted his eyes quickly over there and saw the one he courts, Katrina Fajardo.
Katrina shrieked Tristan's name. It made the people swaying here and there on the dance floor, turning their heads over her. They were murmuring to each other, but the music continued to bombard the whole place. Tristan cannot move his body as he saw Katrina paved her way at the center of the bar towards him.
"Tristan, you bastard!" Katrina shouted as she approached his suitor while stomping her heels. When she reached a frozen Tristan, she slapped his face so hard that it made the people at the bar gasp at what she did. The silence consumed the whole place as Katrina's breath quickened. Tristan held his face and closed his eyes. He realized what he did earlier was something he could not have expected.
It drew him to kiss Margo, despite knowing that he has someone he had to make promises to. It was Katrina.
Tristan loved her at first sight, and he didn't want to let Katrina hurt. But what the hell did he do?
Katrina's rapid breathing intensified as she shifted her eyes to Margo. Everyone's watching the scene, and the people knew that this could turn into a scandalous one. They got their cellphones out and took a video of the two popular actresses getting into a fight.
Margo put her hand over her mouth and looked carefully at Katrina's raging eyes. Katrina approached Margo slowly and stared at her eyes with wrath. Margo took her sleeve up and lifted her chin up. Katrina cackled and shook her head as if she couldn't believe that Margo was truly a two-faced person.
"You have the guts to lift your chin up at me?!" Katrina cried out. Margo stood upright from her seat and crossed her arms. She smirked as she locked her stare on Katrina.
"Yeah. Why? Are you Tristan's girlfriend?" Margo asked sarcastically. Tristan straightened his body and faced the two of them. He held Katrina's right arm, but she unclasped it rashly. She glared at Tristan for a second, then looked back at Margo. She took a step forward towards her, but Margo didn't budge.
"You want to avenge yourself for what Xian did to you, right?" Katrina mumbled that made Margo widen her eyes and chortled.
She laughed hysterically and intervened. Katrina creased her forehead, befuddled about what Margo was doing. Margo pretended to wipe tears from her downward eyelids and sighed.
"Do you think that is what I am doing, Katrina?" Margo retorted back.
"Yes. You even kissed Tristan like what Xian did to that woman," Katrina hissed. She raised her arms and smacked Margo's face hard. Everyone at the bar took back a step, astonished. Margo held her face for a moment, then glared at Katrina. She straightened her hair and pushed Katrina into her chest.
"How dare you slap me?! Huh?!" Margo yelled that made Tristan walk in between them. Tristan held Katrina, but she wriggled out of his arms and also shoved Margo.
"Stop," Tristan mumbled softly, but the two still exchanged the blazing fire in their eyes. Katrina and Margo stood with pride. Their faces were inches away from each other.
Tristan tried to grab a hold of Katrina, but she pulled Margo's hair quickly. The two of them heaved each other's long hair as Tristan tried to release their tight grip on each other.
The people on the dance floor approached the two actresses. They were holding their phones still. Margo and Katrina shouted obscenities at each other.
After a while, Tristan successfully loosen their grasp on each other. Tristan held Katrina's waist firmly. But she was more powerful than he thought, and she squirmed her body out of Tristan's arms again.
"I return the question. How dare you kiss Tristan even if you didn't know him?!" Katrina bellowed. Margo glared at her and tried to thwack Katrina. She blocked Margo's hand from touching her face. Katrina shook her head and taunted Margo.
"Never touch my face with your dirty hands," Katrina whispered right in front of her nose.
Margo breathed in and out and muttered, "You are not Tristan's girlfriend, so he is not your property."
"Back at you, Margo. Don't make me the bad one here! Don't turn the scene upside down! Why did you kiss Tristan with that filthy mouth of yours?!" Katrina shouted. She didn't notice Margo's hands from coming. Margo stroked her face with a heavy palm that made Katrina laugh uproariously.
Tristan held his forehead and yelled, "Stop, please, you two! Everyone is watching!"
Katrina glanced at Tristan and roared, "Don't stop us! You are the one who started this, Tristan! Why do you always insist on me coming here?! To see you kissing random girls?!"
Tristan didn't know what to say except Katrina's name.
"Never call my name again from your grimy mouth," Katrina whispered. She fumed while the tears brimming in her eyes. She darted her eyes towards Margo again and mumbled, "You. You are so flirty."
"What?!"
"Flirty little bitch who did everything to hide her actual face," Katrina muttered. When Margo raised her arm again, Katrina blocked it with all her might and pointed at Margo's face.
"Never touch my face again, I'll kill you," Katrina said. Margo's surprised to hear that and fixed her gaze on Katrina. She felt her body stunned by the word 'kill'.
"You kissed Tristan again. I'll bloody hell kill you, Margo," Katrina threatened in a low voice. Tristan got confused about what Katrina was saying and narrowed his eyes.
"W-what... What did you just say?!" Margo asked back. Katrina tilted one side of her lip, and inch her mouth closer to Margo's ear.
"I said what will make you scared out of your wits," Katrina said right at Margo's right ear. Margo opened her mouth and gasped. She didn't seem to leave her eyes from Katrina's.
Katrina traced her face and turned her back while swiping her hair over Margo's face. She slung over her fashionable bag on her shoulders while smirking. The people make way for Katrina as they put their cellphones hastily out of sight and into their pockets.
Katrina went out of the bar with tears emerging from her eyes as she closed the door with a loud noise. She closed her eyes and walked tiny steps towards the sidewall. She leaned over there and put her hand over her mouth to control the sobs coming. The people who were walking by the bar were looking at her for a moment and wondered why she was crying.
Meanwhile, Margo can't seem to move forward because of what Katrina said as a threat to her. She shifted her eyes from the ground to Tristan, who paced back and forth, not knowing what he would do. The DJ of the bar resumed the music again, which made the place lively. The people danced again and forgot what happened to the controversial fight.
"Tristan---"
"Stay away from me!" Tristan blurted out as Margo was being cut off from what she had to say as soon as she spoke his name.
"You destroyed everything! I have many plans with Katrina, and you ruined it all!" Tristan raised his voice that made Margo startled by his tone.
"Never show up in front of my nose, never again!" Tristan reminded Margo, then ran over the dance floor and out of the bar. Margo seemed not to know how to walk, that she darted her eyes everywhere. She dropped her body down on the ground of the bar and held her forehead.
When she was about to pass out from reality, someone shouted her name in the abyss as she held her head. Someone lifts her head up as everything goes blurry and turned into jet black insight.
