"That one looks like an islet cell." Meredith pointed out, laying down between her people on the grass, staring up at the clouds.

"Which one?" Helena asked, narrowing her eyes.

"That one. It's all puffy and insulin producing." The blond explained.

"It looks like a cloud." Cristina shrugged.

"You are both at this. Did you not play it as a child? You're supposed to use your imagination!" The short girl explained, shaking her head. "Besides, it's clearly a buffalo."

"I have no imagination, Baby Einstein. Teddy sucked it out of me." Cristina complained.

"Oh, let's not go there. We're just gonna believe that everything is gonna be ok." Meredith told her people, plucking out some grass.

"Yeah..." The foreign girl agreed, nodding.

"She did say she has something great for me today." Cristina pointed out. "What are you two on?"

"ER." The short girl sighed.

"Cabbage patch." Meredith told them, making Helena's head turn to her.

"OB? Still? You gotta get out of those pink scrubs!" The curly haired woman complained.

"Yeah, no offense, but really can't pull those off." Helena agreed with a giggled.

"Well, Bailey has got me blackballed from every surgery. Besides, it's quiet. I get to work on the trial stuff." The blond explained her choice.

"I thought Bailey told you to stay away from the trial stuff..." Cristina exhaled, making Helena giggle.

"She did."

"I just can't help it, I feel like I'm this close to-"

The girls were interrupted by a softball ball landing between Cristina and Meredith head, the three of them sitting up as they complained.

"Hey!"

"That could have hit us!"

"Be careful." Helena agreed, as Alex ran to get his ball.

"Nice hustle." The man teased, making Helena narrow her eyes at him.

"I don't sports."

"You know, I think this is just more avoiding thinking about Zola..." Cristina sighed, as Alex asked, stopping by the trio.

"Did you hear something?"

"No. We've bugged Janet till she's sick of us but she doesn't really know anything, so we just have to wait for the court to give us a hearing date and we're just..." Meredith sighed.

"Keeping the faith." The curly haired woman completed, the short doctor humming along.

"Keeping the faith." Meredith agreed.

In the basketball field, a group of the hospital's surgeons played softball, practicing for a game they'd have against Seattle Pres at the end of the day.

They watched for a while, before Owen complained. "Grey, Campos, Yang, you could at least stand up."

At that, Meredith and Helena giggle as Cristina waved towards her husband. "Hi, honey."

"Oh, believe me, I'll be more of an inconvenience than anything else if I try to play. I don't even know the rules." Helena justified, Cristina snorting by her.

——

"Hey, Campos, I need you to sign these." Arizona told Helena, who worked at a nurses station.

"What are those?" The short girl asked, looking up from her charts.

"A subpoena for Zola's medical records. They're transferring her care to Seattle Pres." The attending told her, as Helena flipped though the paperwork.

"What? Why? I mean, her doctors."  Helena furrowed her brows.

"Well, it's a conflict of interest because her prospective parents work here." The blond shrugged.

"B-but, I mean, they just took her away from Mer and Derek, it's not fair that they take her away from her doctors. I mean, we know her case, she knows us and feels safe around us I can't..." The resident started, her eyes hardening with resolve as she bit the inside of her cheek, grabbing the paperwork. "I've got to go."

"Wait, wait, the file! You have to sign-" Arizona shouted after her.

"I'll take care of it." Helena flashed her a smile before disappearing down the hallway.

Helena walked down the hallway, already scheming in her head. Once she spotted Alex standing around a nurses station, she grabbed his arm as she kept walking to the resident's lounge.

"W-what the hell, Lena?" The boy asked, scrunching up his face.

"I'm doing something and I need you to do it with me."

——

"Next in line." A woman shouted, making Helena and Alex step forward in their civilian clothes.

"Good morning." The girl smiled charmingly. "We're trying to get some information about this adoption case. The name is Zola-"

"Family services." The worker deadpanned.

"What?" Alex asked.

"Request for information can be made in writing to family services."

"Uh, look, we're her doctors, and they subpoenaed her medical records-" The ortho resident tried.

"I can't take your files."

"Oh, we're not asking you to, we just wanted to talk to someone about this adoption." Helena nodded.

"It take six to eight weeks to process requests." The woman told them.

"Never mind." Alex sighed, already turning to leave.

"Where do we write? What's the address?" The short girl asked, not willing to give up that quickly.

"This address, office of family court services, fifth floor."

"Thank you for your time. Have a good day." Helena smiled as they left.

As they walked away, Alex asked, shaking his head. "What the hell do we need the address for? We don't six weeks..."
