"You agreed with me. You said April should tell Jackson." Arizona spoke on the phone with Helena, who currently balanced it on her shoulder, her hands busy as she tried to poor soup into a container.

"Well, yes, I said should tell him. Not that you should go behind her back and tell her ex husband about their unborn child!" Helena let out.

"I really screwed up, Lena. She hates me." The blond exhaled.

"Come on, I'm sure she doesn't hate you. She's probably crazy mad and doesn't want to see you so soon, yes, but she doesn't you. Hate is reserved for, like, neo-nazis o-or murderers." She tried, closing the container's lid.

"So she's grouped me together with murderers. Great." Arizona exhaled.

"All you can do is give her space, right now..." Helena let out. "Look, I've got to go. Mer needs me. Oh, and if anyone asks, I definitely haven't taken out a sick day to help Mer feel better o-or left Cara in daycare even if I'm not working, ok?"

"Sure."

——

"Ok, I'm here!" Helena barged into Meredith's kitchen, to meet Amelia and Maggie by the coffee machine, as she put everything she brought with her down on the kitchen island. "I bring ice cream, tequila and soup. What happened?"

"I don't know." Maggie shrugged. "I was brushing my teeth, then suddenly Mer was screaming for Thorpe to get out. He said he didn't do anything, but, I mean, I don't know. Now she's locked in her room..."

"She can't stay locked up there all day, she has to come down sometime." Amelia reasoned.

"I mean, when Izzie Stevens' fiancé died she locked herself in the upstairs bathroom for well over 24 hours." Helena furrowed her brows, then quickly letting out, her mouth falling slightly open. "Oh, I hope this is not a lying-on-the-bathroom-floor-in-a-prom-dress kind of situation..."

"I'm sorry, what?" Maggie asked.

"Oh, right. Sometimes I forget you're both relatively new." The short girl realized, trying to explain. "Our friend from our intern year, Alex ex-wife? No? The one who loved Christmas and payed her way through med school by modeling?"

At the blank look on Maggie's face, Amelia let out, in realization. "Oh, that intern that fell in love with a patient and cut his LVAD wire?"

"Maybe?" Helena furrowed her brows. "Technically, I do think it's all still alleged."

"Oh, yeah, I've heard about that." Maggie finally nodded.

"Haven't we all." Amelia joked, with a dry chuckle.

"Do you think she wants food of juts coffee?" Maggie asked, glancing back at the coffee machine. "Or not coffee? Maybe tea? Tea is more soothing..."

"I would say she'd go for tequila, but it is a bit early for that, so I say it's fifty fifty between coffee and booze." The shorter girl tried, sitting down by the kitchen island.

"So, what do we know about this guy?" Amelia asked.

"Well, Mer's been on a few dates with him, that I know of. He's a military surgeon, gave us a hard time about a patient when we went over to his hospital. Besides that, not much..." The brunette shrugged.

As Meredith walked into the kitchen, all three girls turned to face her, as Maggie let out, startled. "Hi! How are you?"

"Do you want coffee or tequila? Oh, or soup and ice cream, I brought those, too." Helena asked, as Meredith frantically looked around for something in the kitchen cupboards.

"We could also make tea." Maggie offered.

"Are you ok?" Amelia tried.

"Where do we keep the stuff for the countertops?" Meredith asked, opening the cabinet behind her.

"What?" Maggie furrowed her brows.

"The blue stuff, you know, to clean the countertops, that's safe for the kids." The blond explained.

"Uh, used to be behind the paper towels." Amelia told her, making Meredith open another cupboard.

"Meredith, what happened?" Maggie asked.

"What can we do?" Helena asked.

"Found it!" Meredith let out.

"Meredith." Amelia called once more. At the blond's puzzled look, she explained. "You are wondering why I'm here. I crashed here last night. And the night before. O-on the couch! I thought I'd be out before you woke up, but..."

"You're staying here?" Helena furrowed her brows. "No, you shouldn't be crashing on a couch, not when I have spare rooms! You can stay over at my place, if you want. B-but what... what happened?"

"Lena, can I use this on the stovetop?" Meredith turned to her person, nodding towards the liquid.

"Uh, yeah, sure."

Immediately, Meredith started spraying. "This thing is probably covered in 10 years of grease."

"I'm sorry I didn't ask before, I just needed a place to stay for a minute, but I'm gonna grab my stuff and I'm gonna go." Amelia let out, pointing towards the living room.

"No, it's Owen." Maggie let out. "Something happened with Owen, and it really shook her up, so..."

"Maggie!" Amelia let out.

"Look, you told me, and..."

"Yeah, and now I wish I hadn't!" Amelia let out, insisting. "I'm leaving."

"No, please stay!" Maggie let out. "Something happened to you and now something has happened to Meredith, and I think we should all just sit down and talk about it, all right?"

"See, that's a good idea. Because now I'm very worried about the two of you and I need to know what happened, so I know who I have to be mad at." Helena nodded.
