The Demonic Pitbull

Devin and Reed were standing outside of the house. They gazed at Emy's family in the house and listened to the sounds emanating from within. Reed took a deep breath and then looked at Devin, who was just waiting for him to say something.

"Do you have any idea how the bug got through the portal?" Reed asked.

Devin shrugged. "Well, I dunno. A demon might bring it when he passes through the portal."

"Any idea who went through the portal recently?"

Devin shook his head. "No."

"No?" Reed was staring at Devin. "What about the sex-demon cousins?"

Devin chuckled. "They can't be because I always hang out at their house, and the cousins live peacefully."

Reed said nothing at all. He wasn't convinced by what Devin said. Reed took a deep breath in. When Reed started talking again, Devin started walking.

"You probably did not bring the bug, did you?"

Devin chuckled. "If I said I wasn't, would you believe me?"
